I liked [mildly liked] the first one but that was enough for me.

No! It had a beginning and an end. Any attempt at a sequel would cheapen the original movie.
I've heard there are plans for two more and I think that's really going overboard. I wouldn't mind one more, but like others have said. It has a beginning and an end. So, I won't be disappointed if there wasn't more.
