Dharun Ravi gets an Early Release

Dharun Ravi was released earlier today from jail. He got ten days knocked off for good behavior. Personally, I feel like this went too fast. Is there anything else he can do to serve time?

This moved way too fast - within three months he's out? Did I miss something here - like someone dying b/c of this asshat?

Initially, I was very angry over his early release. Upon reflection, the policy is standard procedure for first-time offenders. He was convicted, that's the important consideration. Justice is served. Does it seem fair? Hardly. Then again, nothing will bring back the life lost.

Yes, because since this case involved a gay victim a man convicted of evidence tampering and witness coercion gets a slap on the wrist.

The system bent over backwards and fucked themselves on this one. How is it a person who does everything in their power to cover up the fact that they did indeed do the crime for which they are charged end up with this sentence?
