Someone Lay Hands on Chico's Tacos

Carlos Diaz de Leon and his friends was just was doing the usual; hanging out and visiting the local favorite, Chico's Tacos chain in Montwood, Tx.

When two of the guys kissed, the security guards got scared (or excited) and told Carlos and his friends to leave. Carlos called the cops in hopes to clear everything up, but the officer sided with the guards.

The cop cited a state law that forbids homosexual activity. However, that law (Section 21.06 of the Texas penal code) was overturned years ago. The responding officer did not know the law and pretty much misinformed Carlos.

After that mishap, Carlos and buddies filed a complaint with the police department’s internal affairs unit.

Meanwhile the LGBT community are protesting the Taco joint

Ultimately, the scariest part of this for me is the absolute failure of the police to know the law. I mean, ain't that their job?
