It will be the next Drag Queen anthem, I am sure! And it will "disco version" very nicely!
Nothing like a trite comeback song to revive a fucked up career!

I have always liked her (even in the Crack is Whack phase) but when I found out that she turned down the show Glee (to be a guest star) I was extremely disappointed. Glee looks like a great new show and I was taken aback that Whitney could have turned that down. Eve (I think) is doing it instead. I like the song though. Thanks for the link.

I wish her well. I think she got chewed up by the music industry and would like to see her do better for her and her child. And, maybe her rise will inspire others.

With that said, and sincerely mind you, this song was so disappointing. After what she has been through she agrees to deliver a "greatest love of all" for the 21st century. What she has lived through is not revealed in this lyrics. They punked out lyrically, and wrapped it in a sappy sonic song with an ambient touch of strings.

I hope other tracks offer some true grit and honest language. Surviving addiction is a fierce journey. To offer the idea that one moves forward alone is such bullshit. Yes, it is an internal struggle, but real people have to build community, not managers, around them in order to move on.

She sounds pretty good, but the song is just so formulaic, and rather weak. Hopefully, it is not the best of what will be coming out.

Should've been the second single. I think she needs to come out with a fast track to catch the attention and ear of younger audiences. Show all the little diva's in training how it's done. This feels too much like an American Idol finale song. And we all know how well those do on the charts.

Her voice has weathered, which actually makes her sound more interesting.
