Please don't kill off Lafayette! He's one of the best gay characters we got and he brings it every time. For once, we don't have the model-like, myopic, boring, club hopping gay. We have Lafayette, something fresh and exciting. True Blood is exciting and keeping him on the show will take it over the top!
The ending was questionable, but please let him stay. He's the best thing to happen to gay characters in long long long time.
Keep Lafayette Around!! Oh, and True Blood ROCKS!!!
P.S. if you can, cast a spell to erase The Lair from existence.

I'm so sorry V. I love Lafayette too but according to Charlaine Harris' books... But of course Alan Ball can take a lot of artistic leeway. In the books, Tara and Lafayette aren't even related and Tara is a white cheerleader girl. So, who knows?
