Sony Pictures thinks all of the success and hoopla surrounding the Joker, will equal the same success for Venom. Yes, Venom from Spider-Man.
They want to do a movie about him, but really, he's not a big draw. Who really cares about Venom? He's not a major villain nor one to be feared, like Sabertooth or Lex Luthor. I hope this is something they are going to rethink. With Marvel running things right now, they don't need another Daredevil-Elektra set back.
