Two teens Charged with the murder of Terrance Wright
Two teens have been charged with the murder of Terrance Wright. Weeks ago, I questioned if his murder was a hate crime. At this time, it's not considered one, but the sad pieces about this incident are the ages of the murderers... 16 and 14.
Jarone Carter, 16, and an unnamed 14-year-old were charged with first-degree murder, attempted armed robbery and aggravated unlawful use of a weapon.
Jarone will be charged as an adult and the 14-year old will be charged as a juvenile. I will keep you folks posted on this case as they move forward. It's truly a shame to see this behavior among our youth.

GM and Chrysler calls out Romney on his lies
In a recent ad, Romney lied and said that Chrysler and GM are shipping their jobs to China.
Well, GM & Chrysler wasn't having that. They swiftly jumped in and called his ass out.
A spokesperson for General Motors said:
“We've clearly entered some parallel universe during these last few days. No amount of campaign politics at its cynical worst will diminish our record of creating jobs in the U.S. and repatriating profits back to this country.”Chrysler Group LLC CEO Sergio Marchionne also confirmed that Romney was lying. He said that they are not shipping jobs over to China.
In this stage in the game Romney should've known better. He continues to be shady in all that he does. He can not be trusted.

The Supreme Court to Consider Whether to Hear Prop 8 Case
From the American Foundation for Equal Rights' press release:
Today, the United States Supreme Court indicated that it will consider whether to grant review in Hollingsworth v. Perry (formerly Perry v. Brown), the federal constitutional challenge to California’s Proposition 8. The Perry case, along with several cases challenging the federal Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA), will be considered at the Justices’ private Conference scheduled for Tuesday, November 20. Enacted in November 2008, Proposition 8 eliminated the fundamental freedom of gay and lesbian Californians to marry. DOMA, which was enacted by Congress in 1996, nullifies the marriages of gay and lesbian couples for all purposes of federal law.
“For far too long, gay and lesbian couples in California have been waiting to exercise the fundamental freedom to marry that the United States Constitution already tells them they have,” said Adam Umhoefer, Executive Director of the American Foundation for Equal Rights (AFER), the sole sponsor of the Perry case. “With the distribution of our case for the Court’s consideration, we move one step closer to the day when the nation will be able to live up to the promise of liberty and equality enshrined in our Constitution, and all Americans will be able to marry the person they love.”
Interesting Quote: Dean Chambers
Nate Silver is a man of very small stature, a thin and effeminate man with a soft-sounding voice that sounds almost exactly like the “Mr. New Castrati” voice used by Rush Limbaugh on his program. In fact, Silver could easily be the poster child for the New Castrati in both image and sound. Nate Silver, like most liberal and leftist celebrities and favorites, might be of average intelligence but is surely not the genius he's made out to be. His political analyses are average at best and his projections, at least this year, are extremely biased in favor of the Democrats.
Dean Chambers created Unskewed Polls, which claimed that any poll supporting Obama was fake.

One in Five LGBT Americans Are Conservative
In a new Gallup poll, we learn something about our conservative fam... 1 in 5 claim to be repubs.
Here are the results:
While 45% of LGBT individuals describe their political views as liberal or very liberal, one in five (20%) describe themselves as conservative or very conservative. Among non-LGBT Americans, 23% say they are liberal, and two in five (39%) say they are conservative. LGBT and non-LGBT individuals are almost equally likely to think of themselves as moderate (35% and 38%, respectively).
Interesting... Makes me wonder how many closeted GOP we really have.

Their minds are perverted, they’re frankly very sick people psychologically, mentally and emotionally and they see everything through the lens of homosexuality. When they talk about love they’re not talking about love, they’re talking about homosexual sex. So they can’t see clearly. Jesus said ‘when the eye is dark the body is full of darkness.’ Let me come back to this whole issue of their using the black community because here again some of the most vicious attacks ever leveled against any black conservative or black Christian for that matter has come out of the homosexual community. This is how he feels about us.

First Look at Mads Mikkelsen as Hannibal Lecter in the New NBC Series
Mike will be Dr. Lecter in the new series Hannibal on NBC.
Producer Bryan Fuller states:
“It’s before he was incarcerated, so he’s more of a peacock. There is a cheery disposition to our Hannibal. He’s not being telegraphed as a villain. If the audience didn’t know who he was, they wouldn’t see him coming. What we have is Alfred Hitchcock’s principle of suspense — show the audience the bomb under the table and let them sweat when it’s going to go boom. So the audience knows who Hannibal is so we don’t have to overplay his villainy. We get to subvert his legacy and give the audience twists and turns.”He looks scary and I love it.

Arnold Schwarzenegger returns as Conan
This is weird but fascinating... Arnold Schwarzenegger is returning as Conan the Barbarian.
Apparently Universal Pictures is making The Legend Of Conan with the original warrior. The super hottie Jason Momoa will not be in this one (sad) and the sequel with Grace Jones will also be ignored.
This new film will serve as the only sequel. Can they do that? That's kind of f%^ked up. But I think I'll check it out.
What do y'all think?

The Wolverine takes place After the X-Men films, now has Bone Claws
Big reveals for Wolverine in his latest film.
In Empire Magazine, we learn that the film takes place after the horrid X-Men 3 mess. The X-Men are not active and Wolverine is dealing with the grief of killing Jean.
Here's a few words from Director James Mangold:
"Where this film sits in the universe of the films is after them all," reveals Mangold. "Jean Grey is gone, most of the X-Men are disbanded or gone, so there’s a tremendous sense of isolation for him."
Now that's intriguing. We're pretty sure that there are prequel elements to The Wolverine - our picture alone, if you know your Wolverine lore, would suggest it, while on-set pics suggest that some sequences take place in World War II. Also, recent rumours hint at a cameo from Famke Janssen as Logan's unrequited love Jean Grey, last seen being mercy-killed by Logan at the end of X-Men: The Last Stand.
But, according to Mangold, the bulk of the action - which takes Logan to Tokyo, where he falls for Tao Okamoto's mysterious Mariko and becomes entangled in a brutal gang war - will take place outside of all previous X-film continuity. This is an interesting turnabout. Just hope the story makes sense.
Colin Powell endorses President Obama
Colin Powell supported President Obama again because basically, he feels Obama is the better choice.
Powell stated on CBS News:
"I voted for him in 2008 and I plan to stick with him in 2012 and I'll be voting for he and for Vice President Joe Biden next month."And in more words:
When he took over the country was in very, very difficult straits, we were in one of the worst recessions we had seen in recent times, close to a depression. The fiscal system was collapsing. Wall Street was in chaos. We had 800,000 jobs lost in that first month of the Obama administration and unemployment would peak a few months later at 10%. So we were in real trouble. The auto industry was collapsing. The housing industry was starting to collapse, and we were in very difficult straits. And I saw over the next several years stabilization come back in the financial community, housing is now starting to pick up after four years, it's starting to pick up. Consumer confidence is rising. So I think generally we've come out of the dive and we’re starting to gain altitude. It doesn't mean we are problem solved, there are lots of problems still out there. The unemployment rate is too high. People are still hurting in housing. But I see that we are starting to rise up.WATCH Colin Powell endorse Obama after the jump
I also saw the President get us out of one war, start to get us out of a second war and did not get us into any new wars. And finally, I think that the actions he's taken with respect to protecting us from terrorism have been very, very solid. And so I think we ought to keep on the track that we are on.
With respect to Governor Romney, I have the utmost respect to him but as I listen to what his proposals are especially with respect to dealing with our most significant issue, the economy, it's essentially let's cut taxes and compensate for that with other things. But that compensation does not cover all of the cuts intended or the new expenses associated with defense.
Did Romney Lie Under Oath?
TMZ has the scoop:
Mitt Romney LIED under oath when he testified in the divorce of his good friend and screwed the friend's wife out of a lot of money in the process ... so claims the ex-wife of Staples' founder Tom Stemberg.Does this story have legs? We'll see, but I don't think so.
Multiple sources connected with the divorce tell TMZ ... during Tom's uber nasty divorce case with ex-wife Maureen, Mitt Romney gave a deposition and testified during the trial that Staples was worth virtually nothing. Romney testified that the company was worth very little and Tom was a dreamer and "the dream continues."
Romney characterized the Staples stock as "overvalued," adding, "I didn't place a great deal of credibility in the forecast of the company's future."
Partly as a result of Romney's testimony, Maureen got relatively little in the divorce, but we're told just weeks after the divorce ended, Romney and Tom went to Goldman Sachs and cashed in THEIR stock for a fortune. Short story -- Romney allegedly lied to help his friend and screw the friend's wife over.

The Reason Why the Log Cabin Republicans endorsed Romney
So why did the Log Cabin Republicans endorsed Romney? I know I shouldn't be surprised, I thought they would see what a snake Romney was. But boy was I wrong.
Their reason for supporting Mittens was based on some secret promise in a secret meeting. In the blog/News site, The Nation, Ben Adler shed some light on this endorsement:
I called LCR’s executive director, R. Clarke Cooper, to find out.Seriously? Child please, Romney is a shapeshifter, a liar and a bootlegger. Why would he keep that particular promise? And if he has to keep it hidden, then he's going to flip-flop on it. The LCR were fools to believe this and stupid to go along with his lies.
Romney’s greatest asset as a politician is his total lack of integrity, honesty or consistency. He is perfectly willing to go before the religious right one day and pledge fealty to them, and the Log Cabin Republicans the next day to do the same. And, apparently, that is what he has done, in private. Cooper asserted repeatedly that, “With a President Romney we’re confident we can work with him [on ENDA].” But when asked why, Cooper offered only reasons that Romney should work with them: that discrimination is a form of economic inefficiency and impediment to job growth. But you could make the same argument to any president. The question is what Romney has said that gives them such confidence. Cooper says, “Romney been clear in his opposition to workplace discrimination.” He also seemed to conflate private conversations with LCR representatives and his public pronouncements, saying such things as, "He’s acutely aware of the problem of the patchwork of discrimination," meaning that it creates problems for businesses that some states ban anti-gay discrimination and others do not. Later, clearly referencing private communications with the campaign, Cooper said, "Based on our work with the campaign and Gov. Romney, I'm confident [that he will support anti-discrimination legislation]."
Romney will quickly throw us under the bus as soon as he can. We know this, I just wish the LCR realized this as well.

Log Cabin Republicans Endorsed Mitt Romney for President
After everything we know and learned about Romney, the Log Cabin Republicans still endorsed him.
They said:
After careful consideration and consultation with our members and chapters, as well as communication with Mitt Romney and his campaign team, the National Board of Directors of the Log Cabin Republicans has elected to endorse Governor Romney for president. Not just marriage, he is not in favor of us in all matters. Do they have Romnesia? Because, he will take as much rights away from us as possible. His running mate Paul Ryan wants to overturn DADT, and the defend DOMA. Seriously, LCR?
"The decision to endorse is the right one for our members, our community, and for the nation as a whole," said Log Cabin Republicans Executive Director, R. Clarke Cooper. "Despite our disagreement with Governor Romney on the issue of marriage, on balance it is clear that in today's economic climate, concern for the future of our country must be the highest priority. We are Republicans, and we agree with Governor Romney's vision for America in which success is a virtue, equal opportunity is ensured, and leaders recognize that it is the American people, not government, that build our nation and fuel its prosperity. On issues of particular concern to the LGBT community, we believe Governor Romney will move the ball forward compared to past Republican presidents. No matter who is in the White House, it is crucial our community always has a credible voice speaking out on behalf of LGBT Americans. Log Cabin Republicans will be that voice to President Mitt Romney."
Are you even thinking about this endorsement? This is a disgrace!

Clark Kent quits the 'Daily Planet'
In Superman #13, Clark Kent quits the Daily Planet! But why?
EW and Superman writer Scott Lobdell has the scoop:
“Superman is arguably the most powerful person on the planet, but how long can he sit at his desk with someone breathing down his neck and treating him like the least important person in the world?” asks Lobdell rhetorically, and if you listen closely you can hear a chorus of unemployed 27-year-olds answering: “Wait, so he’s quitting in an era of mass unemployment because his boss doesn’t validate him often enough?” Kent will be joined in his exodus from print journalism by Cat Grant, blonde entertainment reporter and perpetual sixth place finisher in the neverending contest to win Clark Kent’s affections (after Lois Lane, Lana Lang, Wonder Woman, Lori Lemaris, and Lyla Lerrol.)Clark, hire me when you restart/
Part of Kent’s speech involves an emotional exhortation to his Planet colleagues to stand up for Truth, Justice, and “and yeah — I’m not ashamed to say it — the American way.” Lobdell explains that Kent won’t seek employment at another media conglomerate; instead, “He is more likely to start the next Huffington Post or the next Drudge Report,” which I guess means he’s going to found a website called something like “The Kent Review” — built on aggregation, exactly as H.L. Mencken would have wanted.

Was Terrance Wright's death a Hate Crime?
On Friday, Terrance Wright was killed during a robbery in the Chicago's South Side. However, his family believes he was killed because he was gay.
On Top magazine reports
Wright's family claims that the teen was murdered because he was openly gay.
“I believe they only did that to him because he was gay,” said Javone Wright, Terrance's 16-year-old brother.
“What they going to rob him of – his books?” rhetorically asked Wright's uncle, Tywan Bouldin, who also believes his nephew died because of his sexual orientation.
Bouldin said Terrance was bullied at school and in his neighborhood.
“They had to kill my cousin because he was gay,” said Kenyatta Rogers. “That's crazy.”
Police have yet to charge anyone with the crime.

Black Gays make up a Huge Chunk of LGBT Community
This week, the Gallup Poll revealed some info about the large numbers of POC (people of color) in the LGBT community.
And a new piece has grown from that data. Apparently, Black folks makes up a huge chunk of those numbers.
According to the report, released by Gallup earlier this week, 4.6 percent of African Americans responded "yes" when asked if they identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender, along with four percent of Hispanics, 4.3 percent of Asians and 3.2 percent of Caucasians. If this is the case, then we need to use this info as a way to change the game. We should start telling the world our stories and make sure we are being recognized.
"This data reveals that, relative to the general population, the LGBT population has a larger proportion of non-white people and clearly is not overly wealthy," said study author and demographer Gary Gates, of the UCLA School of Law's Williams Institute.
This info is a breath of interesting air

My Reaction/Review of Paranormal Activity 4
After 4 movies, 4 MOVIES, we still don't have a coherent story.
Paranormal Activity 4 continues the same formula without bringing the complete story together. In the film, 5 years has past since the first one. The baby that was kidnapped in the 2nd movie, is now adopted in another family and Katie (demon girl from the 1st film) returns to take him home to the coven of demon women.
This could have been good; the characters were engaging and theme was there, but once again the story barely moves forward. After 4 films, we should know a lot of things... But we don't.
Here are my issues/review/questions
- In the film, we learn about the Coven using an innocent boy to host a demon. Okay, well, if that's the case why did they just use Hunter as a baby from the 2nd film?
- And what is this Coven? What do they want and why haven't they completed their goal.
- Katie's family has been in this witchy mess for years, but what is their story?
- Why are the girls made into demons? It just doesn't make sense, if they spent all this time on the girls when they really needed a boy.
- There are no urban legends about Katie's disappearance or family? That's odd, because it could've set up the story better.
- And what about the survivors of the other films, should they be a part of this broken story?
- The actors are great, but the story goes nowhere. At this point in the series, I should be seeing Satan or Lilith.
- What is the goal of these films? That's what bothering me. Where are we going with these stories?
- The use of witchcraft and the occult this film is lazy. Kick it up 4 notches!
- If you watch all 4 movies, you will see how the overall story doesn't gel at all. It's like claiming Rocky and Rambo are in the same story line.
- Going back to Hunter, he was adopted into another family... HOW? And why? If the Coven wanted him, they already had him. Why put him with another family?
- And who the f%&k is Toby?
I don't recommend this film. It is clearly made to get your money. I wish they would try to tell a story, because if that was the goal, this series could have been epic.
