DTLA is a mess
The New Normal is pointless
Partners is so boring
Will we ever have a serious, strong and good gay themed TV series?

Partner is shit but when was the last time you watched The New Normal? It just keeps getting better and better with deeper and richer character development and it is really hitting current issues hard but with humor.
I've watched The New Normal off and on, and it's not so bad, though I can see why it may not be for everyone.
The L.A. Complex had some interesting, layered gay characters (Kaldric, Kaldric's BF, Tariq), even though I wouldn't call it a gay-themed show. Hopefully it'll come back for a third season.
The New Normal is actually pretty good, you just have to give it a chance. Partners is ridiculous, but I really like Michael Urie so I watch it online when I get the chance.
Do you watch Happy Endings? The gay character in that show is anything but stereotypical, he's hilarious, and they treat his relationships and sexuality just like every other character on that show. To be honest, I think that kind of integration is what we need rather than a "serious, strong and good gay themed TV series."
Viktor is a small town southern boy living in Los Angeles. You can find him on Twitter, writing about pop culture, politics, and comics. He’s the creator of the graphic novel StrangeLore and currently getting back into screenwriting.
