Networks PASS on the Wonder Woman TV Show

I have some lukewarm news about WW. Networks are not feeling a Wonder Woman TV Show.
EW reports:
Wonder Woman wasn’t able to lasso a new home.
Sources tell EW.com the major broadcasters have all passed on the much buzzed about project. The final network considering the project, NBC, declined to bring the superhero back to TV moments ago.
Warner Bros. TV was actively shopping a script from David E. Kelley that updated the period tale about an Amazon princess who battled Nazis and other bad guys during World War II. One source close to the project said the Wonder Woman team won’t give up on the project, even though it’s “not moving forward at this time.”

One factor may have been the projected cost of rebooting the series, with the studio requiring a grown-up license fee to bring the iconic character back to life (in other words, nobody wanted it to be another Bionic Woman). The cost means its unlikely that a cable network would be able to step up and foot the bill.
I'm a little sad (maybe more), but possibly this could be a good thing. Perhaps a movie could surface if the right writer and director gets involved.  However, it still bothers me that every other DC Comic character is getting a green light, but WW can't.

And Bionic Woman? I'm sorry, but BW doesn't have the same iconic fanbase as Wonder Woman, so they should not even compare the two. Also, the crap some of these networks put on the tube? Child Cheese, WW could save some this broke ass network (CW).

This is depressing.........

WW would be extremely successful.

This really sucks. And I'm going to vote with my viewing time.
I will not watch that crap THE CAPE. (NBC has that, but doesn't want WW?)
I'm about to stop watching V. (They cancelled FLASH FORWARD, but kept V?)
