By far it's David Tennant.
I've only seen the last 3 Doctors (own the season with the 9th Doctor) But so far I really like the 11th Doctor and Amy Pond. I think they do the best together. Although the 10th Doctor and Donna Noble is right up there with them on my list.
Just one? Can't happen 'cause they all bring something interesting to the character, but here's a few:
Tom Baker: He was my "first" and by far the kindest / funniest
Sylvester McCoy: Silly & dark all at the same time
William Hartnell: Only seen a couple of episodes, but I relate to his tetchy portrayal.
Christopher Eccelston: Return of a tetchy Doc.
