Let's go down the list of other groups or folks they could have protested:
- Executives at BP for it's crime against God's creation
- Pentagon for war mongering
- Banking and Wall Street for their greed
- Predatory home-loan lenders
But, instead, they target adults that want to have fun and celebrate the triumph of good over evil.
Go figure!
Truer words were never spoken Allen. If they really are so damn religious and want to protect God's universe, anyone of the things you mentioned would reap better rewards than their poor excuse to spread hate.
