I think it is homophobia. With the sudden unearthing of a televised Pink performance where she rubs a man's face in her crotch--and no uproar is raised, it makes me wonder. When CBS had Lamber on, and blurred out his same-sex kiss but then showed the Madonna-Britney kiss, it's a double standard. TV is run by men, and they don't wanna see men kissing men. Homo. Phobia.
There not two women humping on each other. So its not cool so yeah homophobe, but hey if he tongue down a straight women maybe hell be back in the abdc light haha dreams
Simple. During rehearsal for the AMAs, he performed a tame version which the ABC execs attended and approved. Then during the live performance that night he did all the sexy stuff. This is the classic bait-n-switch, and I know if I was an ABC exec I'd be duly pissed off too.
Unfortunately for Adam, he has shown himself to be untrustworthy. Will he do the old bait-n-switch the next time he performs on live television? Who can say, but if I was a TV exec I would not be willing to risk it.
Adam needs to come out and admit this breach of trust and swear up and down he will never do it again. Maybe then he can get his career back on track.
Well, the reasoning is layered. You can't rule out homophobia, but I don't think it was the main thing. He rehearsed one thing for the ABC reps and delivered something very different on air. He came out swinging, complaining about sexism - 'girls do it all the time' and the network was sexist. Then they were homophobic. So, the network is reacting to someone 'going off script' and being somewhat 'unreliable' and then being thrown under the bus. Ultimately, he is losing one late-night gig, and New Years Rockin' Eve, the latter produced by Dick Clark, who also producd the AMAs. It's a wrist slap. Learn and move on.

During the live edition of the AMA, there were numerous audio gaps throughout the AMA; they were censoring numerous performances.
That means there was a delay.
Thus, the notion that ABC was caught "off guard" is BS.
It's also preposterous ABC claiming they're pro gay. Seriously, have you been watching Ugly Betty and the Justin storyline, for example?

HOMOPHOBIA!
But you know what? Adam Lambert is HOT! This guy is the next big thing...
To hell with ABC.
Str8 men hating gay men. Plain and simple.
I vote for homophobia. As The Reason ABC is trashing Lambert.
Is Lambert blameless? Who is?
