Holy Crap, Batman!! CW is F**king Things Up!

I don't know what to say about this bit of news, but:

The CW is prepping a series based on Batman sidekick Robin’s pre-Caped Crusader days.

Just as "Smallville" focused on Clark Kent in the years before he became Superman, "The Graysons" will follow the world of Dick "DJ" Grayson before he takes on the iconic Robin identity and aligns himself with Batman.

Project reps the latest DC Comics franchise to be mined for the smallscreen by sibling Warner Bros. TV. McG’s Wonderland Sound and Vision label is also attached.
Souders, Peterson, McG and Wonderland’s Peter Johnson will exec produce.

"The Graysons" is seen as a potential replacement for "Smallville" should that show end its run this season, which has been speculated. Should "Smallville" return next year, "The Graysons" might also make a strong companion piece.

In the one-hour "Graysons," which will be set in modern times, young DJ will face challenges involving first loves, young rivals and his family as he grows up. Souders and Peterson have come up with an original take on the character.

Okay, remember the royal mess called Birds of Prey, yeah, I remember.

Palin's view on Homosexuality

As for homosexuality - I'm not going to judge Americans and the decisions that they make in their adult, personal relationships. I have - um - one of my absolute best friends for the last thirty years who happens to be gay - and I love her dearly. She is not my gay friend. She is one of my best friends, who happens to have made a choice that isn't a choice that I have made.

Interesting Quote: Bryan Batt

The more positive or interesting the portrayal of gay and lesbian characters, the better. They should show people who are living their good, healthy, responsible, productive lives as role models who just happen to be gay.

The Bob Mackie Hook-up

There was a time in my life when I wanted to be a fashion designer. Among the influences of fashion and style, Bob Mackie was my inspiration.

From my Cher doll to Diana Ross's powerful gowns, I was drawn to his look and over the top style. Now, he's going to spice up the Diva Omega, Tina Tuner. Here's an design from her upcoming show.

“The first time I saw her,” recalls Mackie of meeting Turner in the mid-Seventies, “she had on a beautiful man-tailored silk blouse, gabardine pants and alligator loafers. So opposite to anything that we thought of as Tina Turner at the time.” Nor did it really scream Bob Mackie. Thankfully, designer and singer saw eye to eye — or perhaps sequin to sequin — when Mackie was enlisted to outfit the star for her appearances on “The Sonny and Cher Show.”

Now, more than three decades later, Turner, 68, says she’s “leaning a bit more towards a rock-influenced look.” To that end, Mackie has been looking back at the thigh-grazing dresses, beaded tops and shiny stretch pants he created for Turner’s solo club act in the late Seventies.

His new designs include the requisite “Proud Mary” minidresses, as well as a postapocalyptic look inspired by Turner’s role in 1985’s “Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome” and a vixen getup à la “GoldenEye,” the 1995 James Bond film for which she wrote the theme song. And, though he’s working in a mostly neutral palette (“Because there’s so much there, you wouldn’t want to [use a lot of color],” he notes), Mackie’s going full throttle with the details, including plenty of lacing, fringe, studs and jewels.

The Forgotten Ones

In our lavish, boy-toy ridden world we forget about another LGBT community: the homeless youths. 40% of all the homeless youth in the US are LGBT.

When they are thrown out, they are forced to figure out their next steps without any proper guidance. If they find a shelter to stay in, they are gay bashed or ridiculed. So they are damned all away around. I didn't realized that this was a growing issue, but more of our LGBT youth are on the streets doing whatever, whenever to survive. It breaks my heart to know this.

So I will look for ways to assist our homeless youths in L.A. I believe that these kids need people to provide them with some sense of hope. I feel that they have seen the dark side of things for too long. If we could do something to spark a sense of hope in them, I'm game.

I can't imagine being in their shoes. I can't imagine losing everything when you have nothing more to lose. It's very troubling to know that some of our younger generation is struggling with their sexuality as well as where they're going to sleep. I wish I had a place like Haven House (JEM reference). If I win the lottery, I will build a place for our kids.

The Poor Models Don't Want Our Attention

With these "straight" models falling apart because they are in gay ads or mags, I have to wonder; why are we using them?

Yes, they're cute and they have cut bodies, whatever, whatever, but they are not gay. And when we place them in gay ads, are we asking for trouble? I think so. Right now a couple of mags and photogs are being sued over this foolishness. There are plenty of gay models out there, lets use them to advertise...GAY stuff. We don't need to get straight models, we got our own.

Maybe this is a sign that a hot body doesn't always deliver. So lets leave these Ben Massing and Josh Peters boys alone. We are better than that and we don't need their homophobic drama. There is a huge pack of gay models who can carry the same message, out and proudly. I rather look at someone who's happy for our attention vs. crying that they keep "finding themselves on these stupid gay sites"

Harry's Coming Soon

The remake to My Bloody Valentine is coming. Here's a teaser poster...get excited.

Let Palin be the Moose Mess she really is

Some GOP would love it if Sarah would jet off to Russia with Putin, and others just want her to be herself. Since the real Sarah Palin is M.I.A. some folks want her to be herself on the campaign trail.

The New York Times conservative columnist Bill Kristol argued in his column on Monday that McCain must "liberate his running mate from the former Bush aides brought in to handle her -- aides who seem to have succeeded in importing to the Palin campaign the trademark defensive crouch of the Bush White House.

"McCain picked Sarah Palin in part because she's a talented politician and communicator. He needs to free her to use her political talents and to communicate in her own voice," Kristol wrote.

One McCain source said Palin's husband, Todd Palin, was frustrated with how the campaign was preparing his wife for the debate, but did not elaborate. Another McCain aide, however, dismissed those reports.

But a McCain adviser said the conservatives worried that the campaign was squeezing the charm out of Palin were missing the point.

The adviser said preparing her for the debate was "really hard" because the Alaska governor was learning about issues she had never dealt with before -- including those regarding North Korea and other hot spots around the globe.

Really Hard? Hell, that's what a VP should know. What is really going on? They said she was qualified, yet she knows nothing, she can't answer any major or vital questions, and she needs a VP camp to prepare her to lose. I don't know about you, but this is proof she's not ready. Sarah, get out now, the romance has ended. You're done!

Pride IS a Deadly Sin

The fallout continues in the White House and on Wall Street. The Bailout Bill didn't pass even with the help of Mighty McCain swooping to help.

The package, which was backed by both the Democratic and Republican congressional leadership as well as President Bush, failed in the House by a vote of 228-205.

A majority of Democrats voted for the bill. A majority of Republicans voted against it. The Republican vote was more than 2-1 against the bill.

And what's worst is the fact that the GOP is blaming Pelosi for something she said.

House Minority Leader John Boehner said, "I think that we need to renew our efforts to find a solution that Congress can support. I do believe that we could have gotten there today had it not been for this partisan speech that the speaker gave on the floor of the House."

But what she said wasn't that serious and it shouldn't be that serious when it comes to protecting the country.

This is what she said: "the cost of the bailout is a number that is staggering, but tells us only the costs of the Bush administration's failed economic policies -- policies built on budgetary recklessness, on an anything-goes mentality, with no regulation, no supervision and no discipline in the system."

Really? Like I said, not that serious. But they want to blame her for its failure. If that's case, then those GOP folks are fools and reckless even with their dirty trophy, McCain "leading" them. It's just plan, foolishness.

Keeping it Real: Barney Frank

You tell them, Barney!

Someone Lay Hands on Danny Funderburk

Fort Mill Mayor Danny Funderburk says he was “just curious” when he forwarded a chain e-mail suggesting Democratic Presidential Candidate Barack Obama is the biblical antichrist. “I was just curious if there was any validity to it,” Funderburk said in a telephone interview. “I was trying to get documentation if there was any scripture to back it up.”

Well guess what, stupid man, there isn't any scripture! The last time I checked, Damian Thorn was the antichrist!

When asked if he believed Obama was the antichrist, Funderburk replied, “I’ve got absolutely no way of knowing that.”

Horror in Real Time

19-year-old, Hector Sanchez turned himself in to the Jacksonville police because he killed a man he believe was spreading rumors about homosexuality.

Police said Sanchez is accused in the shooting death of 24-year-old Levi Rollins, whose body was found inside a car parked in a Westside cemetery in July. Detectives were called to Riverside Memorial Park on Normandy Boulevard on July 25 by employees who saw a man's body slumped over in the back seat of a car that had been parked there for two days. Homicide investigators later said Rollins was shot several times.

Sanchez told investigators that he was angry that Rollins was telling people that Sanchez was homosexual and "he decided to do something about it."In a taped confession, Sanchez told detectives that he invited Rollins over to smoke some marijuana.

After sitting in the parking lot of an apartment complex, Sanchez said he pulled a gun and shot Lopez several times. He told police he went to his apartment, changed clothes, then drove Rollins' car to the cemetery and left.According to the arrest report, Sanchez said that after the shooting, he threw the gun off the Mathews Bridge.Sanchez was charged with murder and was being held without bond at the Duval County jail.

Gay Marriage will make the World Totally Gay

Dr. Trayce Hansen has some news for us. According to her, societies which endorse homosexual behavior increase the prevalence of homosexuality in those societies. The legalization of same-sex marriage—which is being considered by voters in several U.S. states—is the ultimate in societal endorsement and will result in more individuals living a homosexual lifestyle.

Extensive research from Sweden, Finland, Denmark, and the United States reveals that homosexuality is primarily environmentally induced. Specifically, social and/or family factors, as well as permissive environments which affirm homosexuality, play major environmental roles in the development of homosexual behavior.

Interesting stuff, Miss Trayce.

Thor May Have a Director

Great news!

Kenneth Branagh is negotiating to direct "Thor," the next Marvel Comics property that will be turned into a live-action film by Marvel Studios. Pic will be released in 2010.

Marvel Studios chief Kevin Feige's choice of Branagh is surprising, as Branagh hasn't really directed an action-heavy film since his debut on "Henry V," a bloody telling of the British king's conquest of France.

Branagh is the latest in a string of directors -- such as Jon Favreau ("Iron Man"), Christopher Nolan (the Batman franchise) and Gavin Hood ("X-Men Origins: Wolverine") -- with arthouse roots taking on big-budget comicbook fare.

Marvel will set a distributor for "Thor" shortly.

"Thor" comicbook adaptation, penned by Mark Protosevich, follows disabled medical student Donald Blake, who has an alter ego as the hammer-wielding Norse god Thor.

The "Thor" negotiations come during a resurgence for Branagh. He's currently drawing raves on the London stage in the title role of "Ivanov," and he'll next be seen acting in the Richard Curtis-directed "The Boat That Rocked" and the Bryan Singer-helmed "Valkyrie."

Are They Still Trying to do This? OR This is the New Batman!

Great Hera! They are still trying to make the Justice League. And now, they are moving forward with this foolishness. Today, they have revealed their Batman...and it ain't Sexiness Christian Bale.
********************************************************
His name is Armie Hammer, an unknown actor handpicked by Mad Max and Happy Feet director George Miller to play Bruce Wayne and his Caped Crusader alter ego in the upcoming superhero-filled Justice League Mortal.

Hammer insists he has not intention of stirring up a battle of the Batmans. "That guy's got his s--t down," Hammer says of Bale.

Even so, Hammer does point out that there's at least one big difference between the two. "My codpiece is bigger," he said with a laugh the other day from Vancouver, where he's shooting the CW's The Reaper (he plays the son of the devil).

While there have been reports that the Justice League flick has been shelved because of too many setbacks (including the writers' strike), Hammer says he hopes to see it get made...

They were supposed to shoot in Australia, where Hammer and his castmates suffered through several months of physical training.

"I would spend hours training with actual guns to prepare me for this stuff," Hammer said. "It was very intense. Our workout regimens were so rigorous that most of us would vomit."

He added, "We weren't trying to get ourselves aesthetically good looking. We were trying to get ready for the demands of shooting."

Not that the 22-year-old great-grandson of oil tycoon Armand Hammer has anything to worry about in the looks department. At 6'5" with a smile and hulking body to match, he has movie star written all over him.

He's already been fitted for the superhero costume, which he says features functioning equipment, including trademark Batman weapons like spring-loaded titanium Bat-erangs. "I was looking down, and I was thinking, This is the best," Hammer said of the first time he put on the entire ensemble. "Then I stood up, and they turned me around, and I faced a mirror—there was Batman. But then it hit me like a ton of bricks—it's not just Batman, it's me!"

I thought this movie was dead, but this is proof that the madness continues. And I'm not feeling a 22 year old Batman. Batman ain't no 22 year old! Oh, the humanity, Jesus!!

New Jason! He's unmasked!

So the remake to The day after Saturday is happening. And here are
some more pics to jazz it up.

Oh No, Sammy Jo!

What's really happening here?

Heather
Locklear was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.

"Around 4:30 p.m., a female witness saw Heather Locklear driving erratically while leaving a parking lot in Montecito. The witness said Locklear was revving her engine loudly, and backed over a pair of sunglasses several times.

"
Soon after, the witness – who apparently didn't recognize the actress – spotted Locklear, 47, stopped on a nearby highway, exiting her vehicle. "The witness called 911 because she was concerned for Locklear's safety," Marshall said.

"When a
CHP officer arrived, Locklear was found seated inside her vehicle, which was partially blocking the roadway."

Because
Locklear appeared "disoriented and impaired," she was taken to a local CHP station and drug and alcohol tests were administered, Marshall said. The actress was cooperative.

"Alcohol was ruled out as a factor, but based on the officer's observations, we believe Locklear was under the influence of prescription medication," Marshall added.

Well I hope she get some help.

I look into McCain's eyes and saw H.O.T.M.E.S.S.

Yes I'm biased. But the debate was telling to me that McCain was not connecting with folks. The Audience Reaction grid showed the truth. There were some sharp moments from McCain, but he couldn't look at Obama in the face.

Obama attacked him face to face with this.

"John, you like to pretend like the war started in 2007," Obama shot back. "You talk about the surge. The war started in 2003, and at the time when the war started, you said it was going to be quick and easy. You said we knew where the weapons of mass destruction were. You were wrong."

Strictly diva. McCain was talking about who he knows, but nothing about what he can do. He may be more experienced, but that was yesterday. Things change, times change. It was cheap to end his speech with his vet past. Very political, John.

So I felt that Obama took a few steps forward.

Blactino Disconnection pt 2

I found this article today and it to be a little disheartening, but interesting to read. Two months ago, I wrote about the secret war between Blacks and Hispanics. Apparently there's some unfinished issues from the civil rights movement that left the Hispanic community a bit upset.

In the article in my previous blog, it stated that Hispanics believe that we get the better deal when it comes to government help and support. I think we both get shafted, but that just my opinion. Besides that particular issue, another matter made the news this week; furthering more inner conflicts between us.
*******************************************************
The chairman of Bernalillo County Republicans, Fernando C de Baca, who had been urged to resign for days by members of his own party, said he decided to step down as GOP chairman in Bernalillo County because of "the media circus that has developed."

C de Baca, 70, was quoted in a BBC News blog last week as saying: "The truth is that Hispanics came here as conquerors. African-Americans came here as slaves. Hispanics consider themselves above blacks. They won't vote for a black president."

In that interview, he said older Hispanics would not support Obama "primarily because there is a strong feeling that African Americans during the civil rights movement took advantage, full advantage, of all the benefits and programs that the government offered, that were supposed to be offered to all minorities. But we were left behind, we were left sucking air, and we resented that ever since the '60s, and I don't see how a black president is going to change that."
******************************************************************************
I hope this isn't true. We have both been at the end of the racism stick for years. We need to stick together and deal with our issues. At the end of the day, we should stand together on many problems that equally cross our tables. We need to work through this foolishness and end this secret and silent war that continues to haunt us.

Interesting Quotes: Kathleen Parker

It was fun while it lasted. Palin’s recent interviews with Charles Gibson, Sean Hannity, and now Katie Couric have all revealed an attractive, earnest, confident candidate. Who is clearly out of her league."

“If BS were currency, Palin could bail out Wall Street herself. If Palin were a man, we’d all be guffawing, just as we do every time Joe Biden tickles the back of his throat with his toes. But because she’s a woman — and the first ever on a Republican presidential ticket — we are reluctant to say what is painfully true."

“Only Palin can save McCain, her party, and the country she loves," Parker writes. She can bow out for personal reasons, perhaps because she wants to spend more time with her newborn. No one would criticize a mother who puts her family first. Do it for your country."

Christine is SOOO much better

If you saw Knight Rider, you may be thinking "why?". And you're not alone, only 7.3 million watched it and according to bloggers and reviewers, they thought it was a waste.

This should have been a 2 hour movie event, not a full series. NBC or rather Ben Silverman should have took note from The Six Million Dollar Man made for TV movies. They knew it would do better as movies. No one cares about K.I.T.T. anymore, unless it kill folks and rebuilt itself or it was possessed by a speed demon. I don't know, just give us something more than a semi-cute guy and a faux Transformer.

Now What, McCain?

According to the news, Congress has reached an agreement about the bailout, and hopefully the word will be out soon. But with this new info, will McCain get back on the campaign trail?

His "helpful" notion was suppose to provide leadership to the decision. For some reason he believed this was not about politics, but actually it was.

Looking at the events yesterday, McCain hoped that his efforts would showcase his leadership, however it drew criticism. It looked desperate and mirrored poor decision making. Of course it was political, if it wasn't, he wouldn't had a mini-press conference. He would've been in Washington yesterday, and he wouldn't try to broadcast to everybody that he's on top of this.

If the country was first to McCain, he would have stop this foolishness a long time ago. He's been in Congress for years and did nothing. This week, he said everything was great, then he changed his mind about the bailout, and admitted to not reading the documents. And now he wants to stop the debates, including Moose Mess's too, to fix something he just had a crash course in?

Oh, McCain...are you kidding us? That's not leadership, that a panic attack. You are not fit to lead.

Prayer Power

I guess they are doing what they got to do. Hundreds of pastors are calling on their congregations to fast and pray for passage of a ballot measure in November that would destroy gay marriage in California.

The collective act of piety, starting Wednesday and culminating three days before the election in a revival for as many as 100,000 people at the San Diego Chargers' stadium, comes as church leaders across California put people, money and powerful words behind Proposition 8.

Some pastors around the state and nation are encouraging their flocks to forgo solid food for up to 40 days in the biblical tradition.

Jim Garlow, the pastor of the evangelical Skyline Church in San Diego County, said he expects up to 100 young adults to spend five-plus weeks on his campus, subsisting on soup, juice and the promise of societal salvation.

"This is not political to us. We see it as very spiritual," said Garlow, a leader of an interfaith coalition that has held monthly teleconferences, shared sermons and solicited donations for the ballot measure.

Okay, but it is political. If it was spiritual everything would just fall in place.

McCain suspends campaign because he's scurred

Since he's not ready to deal with the economy, or even debate the issues, McCain wants to suspend his campaign to focus on the "historic" crisis facing the U.S. economy.

Child Chesse, that's not really the issue, but here's more.

It was not immediately clear how extensive the suspension he announced would be -- whether it would include dropping television advertising or just canceling scheduled appearances. McCain took no questions after reading his statement.

Immediately after the announcement, White House press secretary Dana Perino released this statement: "We welcome Sen. McCain's announcement. We are making progress in negotiations on the financial markets rescue legislation, but we have not finished it yet. Bipartisan support from Sens. McCain and Obama would be helpful in driving to a conclusion."

But here's the kicker

The Obama campaign said in a statement that Obama had called McCain around 8:30 a.m. Wednesday to propose that they issue a joint statement in support of a package to help fix the economy as soon as possible. McCain called back six hours later and agreed to the idea of the statement, the Obama campaign said. McCain's statement was issued to the media a few minutes later.

"We must meet as Americans, not as Democrats or Republicans, and we must meet until this crisis is resolved," McCain said. "I am confident that before the markets open on Monday we can achieve consensus on legislation that will stabilize our financial markets, protect taxpayers and homeowners, and earn the confidence of the American people. All we must do to achieve this is temporarily set politics aside, and I am committed to doing so."

So basically, he wants to look like he's the leader in this, possibly forcing Obama to comply. If Obama does, it could look like he's following McCain's lead; if not, Obama may look like he's all politics and nothing else.

So McCain you ain't slick.

Horror in Real Time

Police said Ronald Dominique lured his victims with the promise of sex in exchange for money, or by showing them a picture of a good-looking woman, supposedly his wife, and saying he wanted them to have sex with her.

Once he got them to his house, he would ask to tie them up.

If they refused, he allowed them to leave. If they agreed, he raped and then strangled or suffocated them.

Many of his victims' bodies were found dumped in sugar cane fields, often without shoes, a connection that helped police tie the cases together.

Dominique - from Bayou Blue, a small Cajun settlement about 60 miles south-west of New Orleans - was arrested in December 2006 after the ten-year killing spree.

At the time, authorities said he confessed to raping and murdering about two dozen young men in four Louisiana parishes.

He pleaded guilty to eight murders in a deal that saw him avoid the death penalty and was sentenced to eight consecutive life terms in prison.

Ooooh Weee, Rick Davis!

McCain, McCain, McCain!

One of the giant mortgage companies at the heart of the credit crisis paid $15,000 a month from the end of 2005 through last month to a firm owned by Senator John McCain’s campaign manager, according to two people with direct knowledge of the arrangement.

The disclosure undercuts a statement by Mr. McCain on Sunday night that the campaign manager, Rick Davis, had had no involvement with the company for the last several years.

Mr. Davis’s firm received the payments from the company, Freddie Mac, until it was taken over by the government this month along with Fannie Mae, the other big mortgage lender whose deteriorating finances helped precipitate the cascading problems on Wall Street, the people said.

They said they did not recall Mr. Davis’s doing much substantive work for the company in return for the money, other than speak to a political action committee of high-ranking employees in October 2006 on the approaching midterm Congressional elections. They said Mr. Davis’s firm, Davis & Manafort, had been kept on the payroll because of Mr. Davis’s close ties to Mr. McCain, the Republican presidential nominee, who by 2006 was widely expected to run again for the White House.

Mr. Davis took a leave from Davis & Manafortfor the presidential campaign, but as a partner and equity-holder continues to benefit from its income. No one at Davis & Manafort other than Mr. Davis was involved in efforts on Freddie Mac’s behalf, the people familiar with the arrangement said.

A Freddie Mac spokeswoman said the company would not comment.

Jill Hazelbaker, a spokeswoman for the McCain campaign, did not dispute the payments to Mr. Davis’s firm. But she said that Mr. Davis had stopped taking a salary from his firm by the end of 2006 and that his work did not affect Mr. McCain.

Look at that! It seems that McCain don't know much about his team. His CM was a part of this mess! And McCain just said Sunday: "Davis has had nothing to do with it since, and I'll be glad to have his record examined by anybody who wants to look at it."

Well dig up those records, Jonny! I want to see them!

iProtect Marriage Mess

These images are from the new webmess, iProtect. Their goal is to educate young folks about gay marriage in hopes to stop it. They even have facts to help spread their cause.

  • For centuries, marriage as a legal, civil and religious institution between a man and a woman has protected children and society in every country and culture.
  • In March 7, 2000, 61% of California voters passed Proposition 22 — to keep marriage between a man and a woman.
  • On Aug. 8, 2008, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control reported that 53% of new HIV infections in 2006 occurred in gay or bisexual men. More infections occurred among young people under 30 (aged 13–29) than any other age group (34%, or 19,200). African Americans, while comprising 13% of the US population, accounted for 45% of the new HIV infections in 2006.
  • On May 8, 2008, a black administrator was fired from the University of Toledo, Ohio, for objecting to the comparison of black discrimination to same-sex marriage.

Here's more

Marrying a same-sex lover isn't a civil right.

Prop. 8 isn't out to remove rights. In America, we all have the "right" to have a relationship. But what about the legal right to marry?

  • For centuries, civil marriage protected society and children by making marriage a legal institution between a man and a woman.
  • On March 7, 2000, 61% of California voters passed Prop. 22 — to keep marriage between a man and a woman.
  • On May 15, 2008, four judges overturned the will of voters and said same-sex marriage was a "right."

The question is, why stop there? If gays have a right to get married, then how can they say a man doesn't have the right to marry his daughter, or a minor, or three women?

The same-sex marriage movement has more to do with validation and social respect than legal rights. But the cost to the rest of society is far too much to pay.

Honey, you can pimp up ignorance and call it hip. Show's over Synergy!

I Didn't Know

He's gay? No one told me! Well, welcome to the fold; now it's Ricky Martin's turn.

TRUE BLOOD: The Only Vampire Show that Matters

Frak The Lair, True Blood is the deal! The Lair is fluff, useless, a farce to the Horror community. No story and no substance. But True Blood brings it, it's smart and sexy with a great supernatural kick.

We needed something like this. It's so good. I wish Here! could get with the program. Gay Horror doesn't have to be 75%, excuse me 90% sex. That's what porn is for. Follow Allan Ball's formula, he gave us great gay characters on a show that was mainly straight with Six Feet Under. And now he's giving us Horror with twist of sexuality. I'm off on a tangent, but again, skip The Lair go for Sookie and her country friends.

Someone Lay Hands on Tony Alamo

Meet Tony Alamo

He is accused by former church members of abusing children and running an underground organization in which girls who just hit puberty can actually marry. This weekend, agents raided his southwest Arkansas compound and placed 6 girls in state custody. But during this madness, he had this to say.

"In the Bible it happened. But girls today, I don't marry 'em if they want to at 14-15 years old. Because we won't do it, even though I believe it's OK."

In an interview on Saturday, he had said that for girls having sex, "consent is puberty."

Some former members of his "church" have seen older men marrying girls who just reached puberty.

The U.S. Attorney's Office said in an e-mail that was inadvertently sent to media last week said agents expected to find children ages 12-14 who had been abused and that they expected to file charges. The e-mail said agents believed child pornography was being produced at the compound in Fouke.

Under state law, investigators have to make a court filing after a search warrant is executed that details what the search found. But Circuit Judge Jim Hudson said the document would be kept under seal because of the juveniles involved.

The six girls taken into state custody will require a hearing if they remain with the state on a long-term basis but there was no indication Monday that a hearing had been set.
