The Men in my Life
So, I have guys that run through my head and heart. They are men that I've been intimate with in one form or another.
Guy 1 is someone I've met after my relationship ended in 2013. He's a good guy, smart, works for the city. He's a passionate lover and always considerate of me. But, he's young... 8 years younger than me. It's not a huge deal, but I have this nagging feeling that he doesn't know what he wants. So, I keep my distance. However, it's doesn't work. We see each other off and on... When we do see each other, it's amazing.
But I still keep my distance.
Guy 2 is a sweetheart, but broken. We met a year ago, I was looking for a job and he just ended a relationship. We became close very fast, hanging out a lot on the weekends. He has the sweetest eyes and a sexy smile. It took us a year to have our first kiss. We were riding around LA, talking about nothing. We got some food and parked in the Hills. He admitted that he found me sexy and I told him I would love to kiss him. It was the sweetest kiss... pure and honest. He wasn't ready to move forward and I accepted that. We still hang out and I still want to kiss him again.
I think he does too.
Guy 3 has me in a tizzy. We met 3 years ago online. We've stayed in touch and in April, we decided to spend a long weekend together. What happened that weekend knocked me on a loop. He was everything I needed. He gave me hope that some guys are good and not jerks. He's completely honest, caring and highly sexual. Sex with him is so good. Sadly, he's in SF and I'm in LA. We still talk almost everyday and we're planning a trip together.
If I had to choose among all 3 guys, it would be him.

Guys, please try to be more than a Hot Body
I've said this before, but I'm going to keep saying it because this is still an issue. Men, you need to build your skill set up just as much as you do your bodies.
I'm still hearing how guys (especially in LA) have these hot bodies, but everything else is broke. Somebody please stop being nice to these guys and let them know the truth. If these guys' skill set is sloppy, tell them to clean that up.
These days, guys have to come fully packed like a new car. Everything has to be 'cute', not just the body, but the mind, the heart and soul. Oh sex too, you have to know how to work it. No one wants sad sex... That's a dealbreaker.
But back to the main point. Make sure you are the full meal deal and not just a shiny object. You will go far if you present yourself as a worthy catch. And for the guys who gets caught up in a healthy looking body, try to get caught up in a health spirit and heart. Those are hot things too.

Poppers are used for WHAT?

So every time I go to X-Tube, I noticed that most guys use this thing called Poppers. They sniff this little spray thing and have "relations".
But what does that do?
In all my escapades, I've never seen this. Someone said it helps them relax, but it's sex, you should be already relax and excited.
Apparently, this has been going on for years. Is this really needed in sex?
I guess, I'm looking for answers... Why do folks use this?

For the Men I've (fill in the blank) Before

Men...Men...Men
I was just thinking about the men I've had relations, feelings and drama with over the years. The list is quite interesting because none of the guys are nothing alike. And those experiences run the gamut from here to OZ.
To give y'all some insight into my madness, I'll share some of my crazy men moments.
- My high school crush was my world, my everything. When I was thinking about joining the army (ha ha, that's too funny), he talked me out of it. He told me to apply to college with him. And since I was so in "love", I followed him to college. However in college, we drifted apart, but we reconnected a couple of years later. I came out to him and he was totally cool about it. He also knew I had a crush on him. I was shocked, but happy that he was accepting of me.
- One of my college roommates and I had a great time together. We were good friends, even our girlfriends were best friends. But we had a small secret, were sleeping with each other. We fell hard for each other, but neither of us were ready to move forward. And because of that dilemma, our friendship/relationship broke down.
- Another guy I was fooling around with in college had a girlfriend and another guy on the side. But stupid me decided to stay with him because he had a hot, tight porn star body. However, the deal breaker was his desire to dress in women's clothing.
- A guy I really, really wanted didn't want to date because he thought he wasn't good enough for me... And he believed his cock was too small.
- And that same guy, had an ex I hooked up with during my 23rd birthday. For a year, his ex and I was secretly hooking up. It took me years to tell that guy about that strange affair.
- My first boyfriend was very young and we dated for a few months. We broke up because he was moving to Boston for grad school. He said the distance would hurt us (he would have been 5 hours away from me). A few months later, he start dating a guy who lived 14 hours from him.
- My second boyfriend was basically a rebound from my first boyfriend. He was a total mistake, but he gave me my dream "lose my virginity" night with rose petals and champagne.
- I dated a high school counselor who had many personal issues like: self-doubt, father issues, anxiety and trust issues. Remember, he was a counselor.

Bears are In, Twinks are OUT

Interesting article about the power of bears (burly gay men for those who don't know). I always thought thick men was the deal, but now I think the rest of gay world is catching up.
Here's a sample of the article:
The chubby, hairy gays are way better organized as a community and, as gym fascism wanes a bit, they've ratcheted up their acceptance as available sexual objects (which is good news for my own trajectory, especially if I gain just five more pounds and a hint of taint stubble). They're more in tune with the earthier, less narcissistic era we're apparently entering (though their occasional distaste for effeminacy makes me fear for just the kind of internal LGBT oppression they're supposedly running from). And now, they're heading toward the big screen in BearCity, a fictional feature co-written by entertainment journalist Lawrence Ferber and director Douglas Langway, who are shooting everywhere from the Ramrod to the Eagle.
The gay community is looking for a more natural look, and, as we become more accepted, it feels like it's more mainstream. We're building a new generation of gay people who have options to look any way they want, whether that be drag queen or muscle bear. I think beards and hair and masculinity are becoming more powerful than sleek and slender and smooth. The bear sensibility allows gays to not have to act as anything but themselves.

Hot Beefcake of Hate?

Lord, they have done it again.
The new Mormons Exposed calendar is out and it... Well, it's weird.
Who do they think is going to buy this? I would say us, but that would be really wrong considering they want to destroy our happiness.
But then again, not all Mormons hate us, look at Marie Osmond.
Check out the site and see the sinful sexiness known as Mormon men.
Oh, and here is the primer:
Back for it's 3rd year, the popular and controversial 2010 calendar features 12 hunky returned Mormon missionaries who served full-time missions for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. With the cover inspired by artist Arnold Friberg and his rendition of the Book of Mormon story, Captain Moroni and the Title of Liberty, we might just see the Honor Code Office at Brigham Young University scrambling to remove any and all shirtless Book of Mormon paintings and sculptures around campus by this and other inspired artists.

Depression Sex is the new Black!

The recession is hitting everyone hard, including the gays. When Dow went down many gays followed (Ha). But the story is MANHUNT membership increased big time. I guess when the going gets tough, get laid.
However Ken Herron, chief of marketing, and Tim Feeley, head of product development, had a different perspective.
Herron claims that guys were probably "reaching out to connect with friends, whether they were going to have sex or not. They want to reach out and talk." We didn't realize that people were using the sex site as an actual "social networking" site similar to Facebook. In fact, the site is free, but non-members only get five emails to send and five emails to receive a day. When they pay a monthly membership ($10-$12), they get unlimited chatting capabilities, can post up to 12 photos and can see nudie shots full size instead of as thumbnails. So Herron assumes that people needed to more than the limited capabilities so they converted. So many people were in need, in NYC, Boston, D.C., etc. that Manhunt recorded three times as many new memberships than usual on Sept. 29 when the stock market fell 700 points. It was the best single day in their entire history.
Wow, I don't know what to say. Surprising, typical, loneliness who knows, but at least if the economy falls out, MANHUNT will be in business.

A Bio-terrorist Attack on East Coast Straight Males

These guys can't be real. But in the East Coast, this is considered cool. If women want the man of her dreams she needs to start here.
These guys are the elite of the manly male. And usually can be found in New Jersey, Boston, and New York. Personally, I would be hurt if I was a woman. If this was all I had, I would give up.
There has to be some master plan out there that planted the idea in the guys' heads. No one would push this as a sexy way to be. This is not cute, nor something to live up to. I hope there's counseling or outreach for this attack on the human brain.
