I agree. Even in this statement, the line about "can't go in on me about the bible. nothing is like the bible now," is problematic. She's (most likely accidentally) insinuating that gay marriage, along with weed legalization, is all part of how society has "fallen" from perfect holy days of the bible, and therefore is wrong. Or is she saying she'd be against the gays if she were living in biblical times?
I'm going to give her the benefit of the doubt and say probably none of the above. Which is why she should just accept she put her foot in her mouth, apologize and move on. And seak? Girl that spelling...
