I still smell BS in this story. If anything, this makes it convenient for the story to go away. Let Ronaiah take the fall, and Manti Te'o have his NFL millions.

I think they're two deeply closeted gay men who concocted a fake girlfriend so no one would suspect.
Sad to say, I've known a couple of closeted guys who've done this.

I agree with RJ. I think there's one more element to this story that hasn't been revealed yet. I'm not placing judgment on either man, just hope they get their lives together and live their truths...whatever that may be.

Honestly didn't know what the fuck was going on with this. I had only seen comments about it on facebook about people making fun of it as I ignored it. But today I read a reactionary article in the NY Post from an Indian who brings up some stuff I considered.

He brought up that Teo is a mormon and from a religious, traditional somoan family: A community, like other Asian and Indian cultures, arranged marriages happen with the betrothed never meet until they are about to get married. Basically he was saying this kid may very well have been naieve enough to have feelings for a girl he spoke with over the phone
