Rep. Louie Gohmert wants to make a Bill to allow guns in Congress

This man is a straight up lunatic! Louie, Louie will draft a bill to allow guns on the House floor.
Texas Republican Rep. Louie Gohmert says his office is drafting a measure to allow members of Congress to carry guns in the District of Columbia, including in the Capitol and on the House floor.

Gohmert says he and his colleagues need to be able to protect themselves, in light of the mass shooting in Arizona.

“It’d be a good thing for members of Congress who want to carry a weapon in the District,” he said. “I know friends that walk home from the Capitol. There’s no security for us,” he said, adding that the measure would deter people from attacking members. “There is some protection in having protection.”

He said there were times during the health care debate last year that he felt afraid, including when a stranger approached him on the street and started screaming at him.
So he wants to shoot someone for shouting at him for any of his dumb ass suggestions. Well, that could get really, really bad.

Louie Gohmert is the biggest idiot I've seen in Congress since Rick Santorum. That's saying a lot considering he's more kookier than Michelle Bachmann.

Yes, more guns is the answer to violence, and letting people like Louie carry them is assinine.

MAD. Mutually assure destruction kept us from nuclear wars. If there had been one gun carrying person in that crowd other than the madman there would not have been the carnage there was. It could have been stoped earlier. If anyone wants to carry they should be able to as long as they have the training, know the laws, and are a responsible human. Yes, I even support our congress if they take the training!!
