Yeah this could be good for the economy but this is the way I see it. This is the same bullshit that Ronald Reagan used to sell the American people in the 80s. His whole "trickle down economics" theory which was all bullshit. That if you cut the taxes of the wealthy that they'll take those dollars and spend them in the economy. Thus stimulating growth and allowing those dollars to assist the poor since employment will be necessary for the dollars being spent. It's all bullshit. It's all another reason to cut taxes for those people that need it the least. This country was supposedly founded because rich white people didn't want to pay taxes. It's the same shit except it's a new year.
If I live to be 100 I'll never understand why poor white trash goes out in it's millions to vote for people that couldn't possibly give a damn less about them. It would be funny if it weren't so pathetic.
