More Wonder Woman TV News

Here's some updated news on WW:

The Oct. 15, 2010 issue of Entertainment Weekly Magazine, now hitting newsstands, has a 3/4 page feature on the possibility of Wonder Woman returning to television.

The piece by Lynette Rice and Nicole Sperling says that David E. Kelley is penning a “spec script” – wording that sounds more like a proposal than an actual solid deal. The article says that Kelley is “expected to incorporate the superhero’s signature lasso, cuffs, and airplane in a script that will be a serious, non-campy take on the DC Comics character.”

Wonder Woman will then be shopped to various networks, though EW’s writers seem to think it would be a “perfect fit” for The CW.

Honestly, I would be scared if it's put on the CW. Maybe TNT, USA or  ABC?

PS - give Eliza Dushku the role - underrated - underutilised... Totally would kick arse as a warrior.

I just hope it's good. I love Wonder Woman!

It's a good fit for the CW because it can be spun off of Smallville.

@Replicant-If they spin it off Smallville..Accchhh!!! That would almost guarantee that a lot of folks wouldn't watch it. (including me!) Spin off Supergirl or Green Arrow but leave Wondy alone.

Jennifer Wenger from "Confessions of a superhero" is the ONLY choice for the WW role.
