More Folks rally Against Bishop Eddie Long

More folks are asking Eddie Long to step down and admit if he did abuse his church privileges, here's the latest:

Reuben Armstrong reports he was contacted by two youth pastors from Bishop Eddie Long’s church back in 2006. They told Armstrong that “Bishop Long was allegedly grooming young vulnerable male members of his church for his own personal sexual use.”

According to Armstrong, the youth pastors “were afraid to come forward and reached out to Armstrong to bring the story to light.”

Reuben Armstrong has written about Bishop Eddie Long in his best selling book, “Snakes in the Pulpit,” and has discussed this topic on his talk show since 2006.

Armstrong has been up against people saying he is just starting rumors, but this may be changing. The news of the four young men bringing legal action against Long does even more to validate Armstrong’s claims.

Armstrong is the process of drafting a letter demanding that Bishop Eddie Long step down from his position. The letter will be sent by certified mail to Long in the near future.

In another news story from AJC News, Bishop Prophet H. Walker of True Light Pentecost Church in Spartanburg, S.C. plans to rally at Georgia's state capital to call for Long's resignation. Walker said the rally will be held at 2 p.m. Oct. 31.
