Glee will do a tribute episode to Britney Spears... And I think I'm done

One of my biggest fears about Glee has come true...
Glee mastermind Ryan Murphy has confirmed to ET that his show is working on a tribute episode to Britney Spears. It remains unclear whether the best-selling female artist of the 2000s will grace the Emmy-nominated program with her presence.

According to ET, “While there's no word if the pop princess herself will appear on the hit show, Glee creator/writer Ryan Murphy tells ET that the show is currently in the middle of writing a Spears episode.”
Really? Who's next Vitamin C, Willa Ford, Samantha Mumba? Well, I'll watch it for Samantha Mumba.

Yea, Britney is no musical great, and she's not really top of any charts. I don'l like the way it sounds... but, I'll give them 2 more strikes.
Not jumping the shark... yet.

Hmm... What the heck has Britney done that could even come close to their EPIC version of Like a Prayer?

Ridiculous.

Didn't Vitamin C, Willa Ford, and Samantha Mumba have, like, 2 hits between them all?

Seriously?

Britney has defined pop music from 2000 to today. Although she does not have the best voice, you cannot question the influence her music has had on her generation.

I think mixing her iconic songs with the amazing voices of the Glee cast will make for some amazing Television.

Uh Britney? How about Janet before Britney since one is a more long standing pop icon than the other...
