In Kalamazoo?

Besides sounding like a spell, Kalamazoo is a progressive place. They are making it seriously illegal to use sexual orientation to discriminate in public accommodations, housing, and employment.

The Kalamazoo City Commission voted 7-0 last night to expand an anti-discrimination ordinance which makes it a municipal civil infraction to discriminate against the LBGT community.

The concept was brought to city leaders by the Kalamazoo Alliance for Equality and was modified by City Attorney Clyde Robinson to pattern similar language adopted by Ann Arbor and 15 other Michigan cities.

That's some good morning news.
