49 Celebrities Honor 49 Victims of Orlando Tragedy in Ryan Murphy-Produced Tribute - WATCH
From the HRC
For too long, a toxic combination of anti-LGBTQ hate and easy access to guns has put LGBTQ people at disproportionate risk of violence and murder. On June 12, forty-nine innocent people -- most of them Latinx -- were killed at Pulse nightclub in Orlando simply because of who they were. It's on all of us to keep their memories alive, and to ensure part of their legacy becomes meaningful action to end hate violence. Join the Human Rights Campaign and urge your legislator to support legislation that will ensure LGBTQ people are safe and equal in every community and find out how to support the survivors and families of the Orlando victims. Ryan Murphy will 'reinvent' American Horror Story for season 5
If you are like me, you are hating this season of American Horror Story: Freak Show. It started off strong, but like most seasons, it falls apart somewhere in the middle. However, Ryan recognizes the chaos and promises a big change in the next season.
FX CEO John Landgraf said this at the TCA winter press tour:
Pressed to reveal the theme to follow Freak Show (which finales on Wednesday), Landgraf deferred, “I know what it is, but I can’t [say]. I have to let [series boss] Ryan [Murphy] do his thing on that. But it’s very different.” Landgraf went on to say of the franchise, “One of the things I love so much about that is that it can be radically, radically reinvented in terms of tone, setting, period, characters, cast.” And along those lines, “I think there’s going to be an unusually large reinvention in between Book 4 and Book 5 relative to, say, between Book 3 [Coven] and 4 [Freak Show]. The only Season 5 clue Landgraf perhaps let slip was when asked about the show returning to the present day (as it thus far has done with odd-numbered seasons). “That’s my hope, yeah,” he answered. As for Emmy and Golden Globe winner Jessica Lange being a part of the next cycle — a while ago, she hinted in an interview that Freak Show would be her swan song — Landgraf has no information, explaining, “Ryan is really, really independent in how he makes these shows and what he does. So I know the setting, I know something about the characters and something about the tone and the time period, but I don’t actually know the cast yet.”Yes, fix this series up because we can't have another mess like Freak Show again.

Ryan Murphy takes on the O.J. Simpson case in “American Crime Story”
Ryan Murphy has another interesting idea for the masses. He’s created "American Crime Story," a somewhat spin-off of "American Horror Story."
In this series, Ryan will tackle the O.J. Simpson case, so that means my mama will be watching it.
The first season will have 10 episodes and the pilot is titled "American Crime Story: The People v. O.J. Simpson." Most of the story is based on Jeffrey Toobin's book, "The Run of His Life: The People v. O.J. Simpson."
This could be interesting, but I need to know more about it. Opening this case up could be messy.

President Obama is a Huge Fan of The Normal Heart
Deadline reports that President Obama loved The Normal Heart.
In fact, he loved it so much that he called Ryan Murphy to talk about it. President Obama asked Ryan about how the film came together. Ryan told him about Larry Kramers's work and how it was a passion project for him.
It's good to know that the President was moved by this film. It was a strong project and a very good movie. Ryan was also moved that President Obama called him to talk about it.
Hell, I would be too.
