First Look at Lady Gaga on the American Horror Story set

Season 4 of American Horror Story takes place in 1950

So the next season of American Horror Story takes place in... 1950.

Ryan Murphy told EW that it's a period piece.

“It’s set in 1950. If you look historically what happened in the year 1950, there’s some more clues in that year. It’s a period piece. We try and do the opposite of what we’ve done before. Jessica Lange has already started practicing her German accent so I’m very excited!”

German...So what happened in 1050? A few things:
The Cold War
Nuclear weapons
The 2nd Red Scare
Tollund Man was found
Korean War
Pope Pius XII witnesses "The Miracle of the Sun" at the Vatican
A super Snow Storm that rose over 30 feet

Who knows, but I hope it's scary and good.

Jessica Lange will leave American Horror Story after Season 4

Jessica Lange has delivered great roles in the American Horror Story series, but after the upcoming 4th season, she's leaving.

Jessica tells Buzzfeed that the 4th season is her last.

However, American Horror Story co-creator Ryan Murphy said, “Every year, she says, ‘OK, that’s my last one.’” Still, she said that she's done. It will be sad to see her go, but she will leave us with some stunning characters. Which of Jessica's roles do you like the most so far?

Season Three of American Horror Story is called 'Coven'

Last night, Ryan Murphy revealed during PaleyFest 2013 that American Horror Story Season 3 will be named 'Coven' and it will be filmed partly in New Orleans.

Here's more:

And while it’s obvious that witches figure into AHS: Coven, Murphy indicated that the show will once again conjure up a melange of scary themes. “It’s about a lot of things,” he said.

Turning to its genesis, he explained, “It’s a really cool story that we’ve been talking about for a couple of years actually, and this seemed the year to do it.”

As for the setting, Murphy reiterated that the narrative will take place in multiple cities, and that this marks the first year the show will go on the road and shoot on location. (The Harmon House and asylum interiors, he noted, were sets on a studio.)

When approaching Season 3, Murphy said, “The fun thing is researching what are the really haunted places in America, and we have a couple doozy locales.”

Asked about her role in Coven — which had previously been summed up as a “glamour cat” — threepeat cast member Jessica Lange said, “I don’t know what a ‘glamour cat’ is, but I am excited.”

New Promos for American Horror Story: Salem

I think these are legit

The only thing I will miss about American Horror Story... Evan Peters

Evan...

I don't know what it is about him, but I think he's hot. He is the kind of guy that you would give up your High School popularity for. And if you wasn't popular, he's the type of guy you would give up your emo-cred for.

Evan has this dirty innocence that's sexy and dangerous. I hope he knows how hot he is, but if he doesn't, I would be very happy to tell him.

So What will the Next Season of American Horror Story be about?

ShockTillYouDrop.com talked with Ryan Murphy about the next installment of American Horror Story.

Here's the scoop:

Murphy told Shock director Alfonso Gomez-Rejon (who helmed many of the best Asylum episodes), "has a really great eye and we work really well together. We just did a deal for him to be a producer/director next season where he is probably going to direct every third [episode] but definitely work with the directors to work on the visual style of the show."

"I'm done with aliens," Murphy laughed when asked about season three. "The thing I wanted to do next season was something that's funnier. I really missed that 'Jessica Lange as Constance'...that stuff and I know she missed it, too. [Next season] is a mixture of several cities and it's really about female power. And I got Jessica to do it because I did everything she asked, which was the location. I also told her she'll have complete hair and make-up and the best designer gowns ever. She's going to play a really glamor cat sort of lady. I'm just now meeting with a lot of actors that Jessica wants to work with. She loves doing the show and I think she love the thirteen-episode nature of it so she can do other things."

Will you be back for another season of AHS?

WTF? Target is selling the 'American Horror Story' Rubber Man Suit

Target has put it all out there. If you want, you can get the Rubber Man suit (the American Horror Story one) from Target online.

I'm floored by this, I mean... Did they see the show?

This is going to be the rave at WeHo this year.

Thanks Will for talking about this

Check Out Jessica Lange's role in American Horror Story season 2

We all loved Jessica Lange as the devious Constance Langdon in American Horror Story. Now, she will be someone totally different. I just found out she will be a nun; the wife of Christ.

She will be the administrator of the mental facility. I'm curious to see her in this role.

American Horror Story update: Tate Langdon the Hero?

More news on American Horror Story next season. Another familiar face will return... as a Hero.

Tate Langdon.

Yes, our favorite teen serial killer will be this year's dashing hero. Here's more from Blastr

In an interview with Vulture, Murphy revealed details about American Horror Story's latest arc, which moves from a haunted house to an insane asylum.

"It's set in an institution for the criminally insane that Jessica Lange's character runs, which is a really, really, really fun thing to do because you can write all these people locked up in it... What makes someone sane or insane? Sometimes the people you think are insane are actually the most sane of all. It's fun to write about people who society throws away."

With so many familiar faces returning, it may be hard for viewers to separate the actors from their previous roles. It's a valid concern, but Murphy thinks fans will adjust.

"I think they will. I think that people will love seeing Evan Peters, who was last season's ultimate badass bad boy and this year is the hero of the show... They're going to look different, they're going to sound different, they're going to have different accents. It's a different time period."

Alright, look like this season is ready to go.
