FRC and NOM are Begging House Repubs to deal Marriage Equality in DC

These people are really pushing it. Even after the Supreme Court rejected Bishop Harry (Snakeface) Jackson's foolish challenge to D.C.'s marriage equality law; he, FRC and NOM are approaching the House GOP to end D.C.'s gay marriage period.
Tuesday's decision was not an endorsement of gay "marriage" in this city or anywhere else. It was simply the court recognizing its own limitations. On matters affecting the District, Congress is the absolute authority. The justices are leaving it to them to clean up this mess, or not.

Last year, when the city council exploited the process and forced same-sex "marriage" on the District, House leaders could have--and should have--gotten involved. Instead, members chickened out and did nothing. Fortunately for D.C. voters, times--and the party majorities--have changed. I've been discussing possible steps GOP leaders could take to do what the city didn't do: give the people a voice. Believe it or not, Congress has the power to override the D.C. government's decisions any time it wants. It could reject the marriage law outright or order the District to adopt a new statute that would put this issue on the ballot. What the Left doesn't want you to know is that D.C. doesn't have the authority to block referendums on marriage. Only Congress does.

"The answer for us," Bishop Jackson said yesterday, "is to return to the political process." And you can help! With a strong new Speaker at the helm, Americans can demand that our nation's capital follow our nation's law--which is that marriage is the union of a man and woman. Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) is the Chairman of the House Government Oversight Committee. As a representative from California, where Proposition 8 is under attack, he knows firsthand the importance of leaving these issues in voters' hands. Email or call him (202-225-3906) today and encourage him to give the people of Washington, D.C. the same opportunity.

Will they just give it up already?

Ha! The Supreme Court rejects appeal over DC gay marriage law

Sorry Bishop Harry, your foolish journey is over! The SCOUTS don't want to hear about anti-gay mission to stop gay marriage in D.C.
The Supreme Court has rejected an appeal from opponents of same-sex marriage who want to overturn the District of Columbia's gay marriage law.

The court did not comment Tuesday in turning away a challenge from a Maryland pastor and others who are trying to get a measure on the ballot to allow Washingtonians to vote on a measure that defines marriage as between a man and a woman.

Bishop Harry Jackson led a lawsuit against the district's Board of Elections and Ethics after it refused to put that initiative on the ballot. The board ruled that the ballot question would in effect authorize discrimination.

Last year, Washington began issuing marriage licenses for same-sex couples and in 2009, it began recognizing gay marriages performed elsewhere.

So Harry, maybe this God's way of saying... Stop it, you Fool!

DC Gay Marriage Haters got Shut Down!

I give these fools credit for trying... D.C.'s highest court just told these haters "NO" on trying to overturn city's same-sex marriage law.

Here's the stuff:

Opponents had wanted to challenge a law that took effect in Washington in March allowing same-sex couples to marry. They attempted to get approval to put an initiative on the ballot asking city voters to define marriage in the city as between one man and one woman. But city officials balked, saying a district human rights law barred initiatives that would authorize discrimination.

On Thursday, the D.C. Court of Appeals ruled 5-4 that officials had the authority to keep the measure off the ballot and acted appropriately.

Now, that's should be enough for Bishop Harry and his band of fools to sit the Frak down and shut it up.

Concerned Women for America are Idiots

This group is a sham!

When women are lining up to be whores, homewrecking marriages, proudly bragging about it on TV and receive reality shows for their Harlotry, this group has nothing to say about them. But when it comes to gay marriage. This is what we get:

And this trollop has the nerve to use minorities matters in her speech. You ain't foolin' nobody, Trick! We know the deal. So get that cretin, Harry Jackson off your arm and go home!

D.C. Anti-Gay Marriage Amendment FAILED

Sen. Bob Bennett's stupid ass anti-gay amendment to force a referendum failed like Madonna's movies! It was defeated by a vote of 59–36.

So suck it, Bob!

Sen. Bob Bennett is trying to destroy D.C. Gay Marriage

This son of a whore is trying to kill D.C. gay marriage by creating an amendment to suspend gay marriage licenses.
Bennett is emerging as the most stalwart congressional opponent to same-sex marriage in the District. Earlier this month, he sought to attach a similar amendment to a Federal Aviation Administration Reauthorization bill. But that amendment was ruled out of order.

Bennett's latest attempt to force a referendum on the city's same-sex marriage law, which went into effect March. 3, has the support of GOP Sens. Roger Wicker (Miss), Pat Roberts (Kansas), Orrin Hatch (Utah), James M. Inhofe (Ok), and John Cornyn (Texas), according to the DCist blog.

But Senate Democrats, who are trying to keep all GOP amendments off the reconciliation bill, are widely expected to kill Bennett's amendment, which was first reported by the New York Times. Still, Bennett's determination to force a public vote on same-sex marriage in the District has caught the attention of District leaders.
Bob, you are a solid asshole! This is not your state or concern, you truly suck!

Sore Losers: NOM goes after Councilmember David Catania

Still feeling the slap in face in D.C., NOM's bitterness is shining through.

They are trying get rid of Councilmember David Catania, by supporting Rev. Anthony J. Motley for the 2010 City Council election.

Motley has accepted two campaign contributions from NOM, and another from the Committee to Elect Delano Hunter. Hunter is running for a seat to represent Ward 5. He has also been supported by NOM.

''Obviously we're interested in electing candidates that will support traditional marriage and allowing voters of D.C. the right to have their say on the issue,'' Brian Brown, executive director of NOM, says. ''Rev. Motley does.''

Marriage should not be the main piece in this battle. Folks are not stupid, they will not jump to the booths to save straight marriage. There's too much going on in D.C. for many to care as much as NOM, so leave our happiness alone!

And maybe it's time for a Fight Back D.C. to put NOM to sleep.
