In North Dakota: State Officials Seeks Dismissal of Gay Marriage Suit

Solicitor General Doug Bahr

This is so ridic!

ND officials are trying their best to have the lawsuit against the state's marriage ban dropped.
These freaks are begging the federal judge to dismiss a lawsuit. The state attorney general's office filed the motion yesterday, using the claim the states have the right to define marriage... Mostly for a man and a woman.

Solicitor General Doug Bahr said in the 50 page document:
"Nothing in the United States Constitution prevents the people of North Dakota from defining marriage as the legal union between a man and a woman."
"The people of North Dakota, through the deliberative political process, retain the traditional understanding of marriage as the union between a man and a woman."
Okay, and nothing prevents them from changing that as well. I mean, why are they fighting this? It's going to happen, whether they like it or not.

The AG said they will defend the law, but they are wasting their time.
