1984 was the year of dance evolution. It was also the year of the cult dance classic film, "Breakin"! I loved this film and watched it religiously. One, for Shabba Doo and two, for Kelly a.k.a. Special K!
Special K brought in the jazz dance element to the film. At that time, I wanted to be a Solid Gold dancer and Kelly was my inspiration. So, I wanted to take this time to give Special K her props.

LOL. I liked Breakin also.
I met Shabba Doo in New York City about three years after this movie came out. Very handsome brother in public.
