She had a good speech. In fact, I enjoyed all the winner speeches. Sandra Bullock was also gracious, and comical (which kept me from being mad that she got an award over Streep.)

I don't understand what you guys are saying. She sounded like an angry black woman. I think racism is disgusting, but keep in mind, caucasians are not the only racists in this world. The leader of the free world is black. I found her comments racist, deplorable and indignant. If a white person had spoken those words every African American would be gunning for them, but somehow she gets a pass. Despicable.

I agree!!! I have always liked Monique, but what was up with that speech. She mentions politics??? She was the only one thanking her attorney??? This is reverse racism for a lack of a better term! No, I'm not caucasian! The rules should apply to all equally.

Samuel L. Jackson's face is a picture! I thought her Golden Globe speech was much sweeter, what a shame.

Actually I am caucasian, and while I did not find her speech offensive, I did think she slammed others. She said something like, "for once it's not about the politics. This time it's about the performance". Whether she entended it or not, she was slamming others getting awards indicating that their performance wasn't worthy.

Sandra's performance definitely wasn't worthy.
