Southern Blood Suckers

So far I'm loving the new HBO series, True Blood. It's creepy, sexy, dangerous and alluring. Goddess, we needed a new and challenging supernatural series.

Thank you, Alan Ball. I hope you won't let me down.

I was wondering if it would be good. I watched it last night as well and starting thinging how unlikely it was to have that many different personalities working in one restaurant/bar? This was not the "South" that I knew. But, as the plot moved along and they showed enough beefcake and flesh one would expect from a "soft-porn" flick, it actually got a bit better. I do hope they move quickly away from the stereotypical characters. I mean, the over weight redneck without a shirt and in bib overalls coming in for a drink? Even they dress up better when they go out for a drink. Otherwise, I am looking forward to next week's addition. I guess I'm hooked. ;-)
