This is a recession. There's no doubt about it, companies are falling out, gas prices are high, the dollar's worth is shaky. We're in trouble when Lehman Brothers is filing for bankruptcy, while Bank of America is going to buy Merrill Lynch.
It's real and hitting hard. And we talk about leaving government out of things, please, at this point the government peeps are the Justice League. Maybe if we stop funding the war we will be back on track, or focus on real issues that matter to everyone else, like economy and taxes, versus abortions and silly family values that are too trite to believe in.
Whether we like it or not, this is our America and we are not the superpower we used to be.
