The Moscow Times names President Obama one of the Five Heroes of Russia's Gay Rights Movement
So, The Moscow Times named President Obama one of their top five heroes of the Russian gay rights movement. Interesting honor to get from the Mother country.
The paper noted this about the President:
"American authorities have long raised questions about human rights and LGBT issues in Russia and Obama sent a clear signal during his visit to St. Petersburg for the G20 summit, where he organized a meeting with human rights and LGBT activists amid a busy schedule and ongoing negotiations regarding the conflict in Syria."I think it's cool and very telling about the global appeal he has.

Interesting Quote: Elton John
"I’m supposed to be going to Moscow in December. I’ve got to go. And I’ve got to think about what I’m going to say very carefully. There’s two avenues of thought: do you stop everyone going, ban all the artists coming in from Russia? But then you’re really leaving the men and women who are gay and suffering under the anti-gay laws in an isolated situation. As a gay man, I can’t leave those people on their own without going over there and supporting them. I don’t know what’s going to happen, but I’ve got to go.”

Gina Torres speaks about being Wonder Woman
Vulture magazine asked Gina Torres about being a fan-favorite to play Wonder Woman.
She said:
"You know, she is a superhero that has been a part of my life since I can remember, and it is incredibly gratifying and heartwarming and wonderful that this campaign continues to have a life — even though it might be maybe three or four people that are keeping it alive. [Big laugh.] I love them! I don't know how realistic it is. Of course I would love to do that. Who wouldn't in their right mind? And why not? Well, there are all kinds of reasons why not. But yes, it is a fantasy. And it's a hoot. It's a hoot that every now and then, all these years go by, and people are still thinking that I could do that; I could make that wonderful and they will come and see it. I can't even tell you how that feels."This is so cool. I think she should be in the project in some form or fashion.
