Archbishop John Nienstedt accused of Touching a Young Boy

Housequake!

Archbishop John Nienstedt has been accused of touching a boy on the butt back in 2009. Once this news hit the streets, the Archbishop removed himself from public ministry.

He totally denies the allegation, but will let the investigation go as planned. This is interesting, considering his interview just the other day.

Also an another interesting piece, John was once of the reason NFL player Chris Kluwe got involved in gay rights. Take a look back down Memory lane between John and Chris.

Interesting Quote: Guillermo Diaz on being out in Hollywood

‘I don’t even think about it, I’m an actor. I’ve been out since I started acting and I’ve worked my whole life. I think people get too caught up in it. I don’t stress about it. If somebody doesn’t want to work with me because I’m gay, I don’t want to work with them either.’

The Voice of Elmo's Kevin Clash under fire because of a Relationship with a Underage Boy

Oh Lord.... We don't need this right now!

From LA Times
Kevin Clash, the man who has voiced “Sesame Street’s” beloved Elmo character for the past 27 years, has been put on leave from the show amid claims of an inappropriate relationship with a teenage boy.
In a statement released Monday morning, Sesame Workshop, the company that produces the long-running children's educational program, explained that it received an email in June from a man, now 23, who contended that he had a sexual relationship with Clash beginning when he was 16.
The company stated that it conducted a “thorough investigation,” including two meetings with the accuser, and found his claims regarding underage sexual contact to be “unsubstantiated.” According to TMZ, Clash has admitted to a sexual relationship with the young man, but says it did not take place until after he had turned 18.
However, Sesame Workshop’s investigation “did reveal that Kevin exercised poor judgment and violated company policy regarding internet usage and he was disciplined.”
The statement also stressed that Clash, who insists on his innocence, “is taking actions to protect his reputation,” and that the leave of absence was granted for this reason. The puppeteer was the subject of a largely flattering documentary, “Being Elmo,” released last year.

Governor David Paterson will Not seek Reelection

The Governor's domestic violence scandal has led him to this... He is no longer seeking reelection.

Gov. David A. Paterson, his administration caught up in a whirlwind of allegations about its intervention in a domestic violence episode involving a top aide, is set to announce that he is suspending his election campaign and will not run in November, according to a person told about the plans.

Mr. Paterson is expected to make the announcement Friday afternoon. It would end his campaign less than a week after it officially began, with an angry speech at Hofstra University on Long Island. There, on the campus where he had gone to law school, the man who has been the state’s top official for 23 months — and had been a state senator for more than 20 years before that — presented himself as something of an outsider tiliting against special interests in Albany.

By Friday, some newspaper editorial writers were demanding something more than an end to his campaign: they were calling for his resignation. That only added to the increasing sense that it would be nearly impossible for him to run the state and the campaign with the abuse case in the background.

This is a sad ending to a man who stood his ground and stuck to his beliefs.

How Do You Buy a Seat?

Scandal, pure scandal in the government! Well, that's nothing new but I can't believe this!
I'm sure y'all know about this Senate Seat business, right. Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich was arrested on today for possibly selling the U.S. Senate seat left open by Obama. It was like he was using ebay tactics to get the highest bidder for the "item".

Rod "Baloney sandwich" claimed he did nothing wrong, however he was also charged with illegally threatening to withhold state assistance to Tribune Co., the owner of the Chicago Tribune, in the sale of Wrigley Field. In return for state assistance, Blagojevich allegedly wanted members of the paper's editorial board who had been critical of him fired.

Here more about the charges:

After a few hours in custody, Blagojevich was released on $4,500 bail.

This is a mess and truly a story from a bad TV series. What is in the drag queen's wig was he thinking? The way folks are watching Obama and the Dems, did Baloney sandwich think it was a flash in the pan?

Goodness, just when I thought we had it made...Foolishness.

I thought we were DONE with this subject

There's a new book coming out soon about Gays in Hip Hop. Here's the plug

Everyone wants to know the truth about their favorite celebrities’ heart’s desire. Within the masculine culture of Hip Hop and Hollywood, there is a well-known gay subculture that industry insiders are keenly aware of but choose to hide. Terrance Dean worked his way up for more than ten years in the entertainment industry from intern to executive, and has lived the life of glitz and bling along with Hollywood and Hip Hop’s most glamorous. With a family full of secrets and working in an industry founded on maleness — where one’s job, friendships, and reputation all depend on remaining on the down low and in hiding — Dean writes a revealing account of the journey of coming out from hiding.

Full of startling anecdotes and incredible true stories, Hiding in Hip Hop is not a traditional tell-all. A personal and poignant memoir, it is also one of the most provocative and honest looks at stardom and sexuality.

Ok, I haven't read the book, so I really making a huge assumption. However I see some issues with this book that can do more harm than good.

My views (even though I haven't read book)
  1. Books like these are nothing but tabloids. They are exposing people's private lives without their consent and possibly hurting friends, family, and others. To do a book like this means that you are out to make money at all cost. If you want to help someone discover their sexuality, then present positive role models to show them that it's ok to be gay. But to put them on front street only reinforce the fear and negativity besetting gay issues and gay people.
  2. If this is a memoir, then focus on you, not people that may not have anything to do with you.
  3. Don't market this as a Tell All, it's tacky and trashy. And why do you need to tell other people's business if it's not your own. That's how you get slapped!
  4. Superhead wrote a tell all book and it made her a stain as a black woman. Please be aware of the outcomes. This could make you a target for mess and foolishness.
  5. Please have something in there, that inspires black closeted males to come out, not go back in.
  6. JL King...think about it.
  7. I could care less about who's closeted, I care about who's leading us forward.
  8. And if they're closeted, lets move on. We're out, now what are we going to do. Write about that.
I hope this book don't cause a big stink. This may push us back and dress our community as spiteful, greedy, and silly gays. I hope this brother thought about that before he wrote this book. I don't think it will solve anything that's important to us. It will be another gossip rag to talk about at the salon. And to be honest, I rather hear about hairdresser's wedding plans than who suck cock with a 40 in one hand and sweaty balls in the other.
