Lord, who Asked for a Edward Snowden Movie?

This is some foolishness.

So, Oliver Stone is making a movie about Edward Snowden. I guess he thinks there are folks chomping at the bit to see this.

Here's more

Stone's thriller will focus on the experiences of the American whistleblower Edward Snowden, a contractor at the National Security Agency who leaked thousands of classified documents to the former Guardian columnist Glenn Greenwald back in June 2013. The film is to be produced by Stone's regular business partner Moritz Borman, with Harding and other Guardian journalists serving as production and story consultants.

"This is one of the greatest stories of our time," Stone, 67, said in a statement. "A real challenge. I'm glad to have the Guardian working with us."

Child, please!

The Guardian is looking for a chance to shine, this ain't out of the goodness of their hearts.

I wish they quit celebrating this man as a hero.

US Investigations Services Vetted and Approved Edward Snowden and Aaron Alexis

So, how do you know when your company needs a review?

When you approved a traitor and a killer for a job.

US Investigations Services is company who vetted and approved Edward Snowden and Navy Yard shooter Aaron Alexis for jobs. Interesting, right?

Now, I guess they can't be blamed for the aftermath, but when the USIS kinda denied their handling of Aaron Alexis' file... You can't help but to think something is wrong here.

And it doesn't help that the USIS is under criminal investigation on whether they lied to the government about the thoroughness of its background checks. I hope they have some good lawyers, because it could be some smoke in the city as this all unfolds.

Edward 'Real Hero' Snowden leaves the Russian Airport

The Real American Hero finally left the Russian airport today. Edward Snowden was granted asylum for one year in Russia and his location will be kept secret.

Edward can roam around Russia, but not allowed to leave the country.

Personally, Russia should have handed him over to us. The fact this 'Hero' is afraid to face the music just irks me.

To be honest, I hope he is forced to return here and face his 'heroism'. He should come back and be held accountable for his actions.

READ Edward 'Running Man' Snowden's Odd Statement

This fool supposedly released a statement through Wikileaks
One week ago I left Hong Kong after it became clear that my freedom and safety were under threat for revealing the truth. My continued liberty has been owed to the efforts of friends new and old, family, and others who I have never met and probably never will. I trusted them with my life and they returned that trust with a faith in me for which I will always be thankful.

On Thursday, President Obama declared before the world that he would not permit any diplomatic "wheeling and dealing" over my case. Yet now it is being reported that after promising not to do so, the President ordered his Vice President to pressure the leaders of nations from which I have requested protection to deny my asylum petitions.

This kind of deception from a world leader is not justice, and neither is the extralegal penalty of exile. These are the old, bad tools of political aggression. Their purpose is to frighten, not me, but those who would come after me.

For decades the United States of America have been one of the strongest defenders of the human right to seek asylum. Sadly, this right, laid out and voted for by the U.S. in Article 14 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, is now being rejected by the current government of my country. The Obama administration has now adopted the strategy of using citizenship as a weapon. Although I am convicted of nothing, it has unilaterally revoked my passport, leaving me a stateless person. Without any judicial order, the administration now seeks to stop me exercising a basic right. A right that belongs to everybody. The right to seek asylum.

In the end the Obama administration is not afraid of whistleblowers like me, Bradley Manning or Thomas Drake. We are stateless, imprisoned, or powerless. No, the Obama administration is afraid of you. It is afraid of an informed, angry public demanding the constitutional government it was promised — and it should be.

I am unbowed in my convictions and impressed at the efforts taken by so many.

Edward 'Scaredy Cat' Snowden flees to Russia

This 'American Hero' continues to run.

Scaredy Cat Snowden flees to Russia after hiding for weeks in Hong Kong. It's believed that he landed in Moscow and then, heading to Cuba tomorrow.

You know, this is getting out of hand. This fool has proven to be nothing be a faker, a bootlegger and phony. If he believed that he was doing the right thing, he would face the charges and stand his ground. But this Chicken Little runs and hides.

Again, it's all about him. He needs to Man Up and Stand Up. All he's doing is making it worse for everyone involved. Snowden just proves to be another misguided millennial, looking for a way to avoid accountability.

Interesting Quote: Edward Snowden

“People who think I made a mistake in picking Hong Kong as a location misunderstand my intentions. I am not here to hide from justice; I am here to reveal criminality. I have had many opportunities to flee HK, but I would rather stay and fight the United States government in the courts, because I have faith in Hong Kong’s rule of law.
My intention is to ask the courts and people of Hong Kong to decide my fate. I have been given no reason to doubt your system."
Well then come on out, Hero. Face your country!

8 Reasons why Edward Snowden is NOT a Hero

I don't know who start this or who truly believes in this, but this 'Edward Snowden is a Hero' stuff is nonsense.

The last time I checked, a Hero sacrifice themselves for the greater good, or fight for the rights of others without leaving a mess to clean up. Superman, Gandhi, MLK... These are heroes, but this millennial techie? Not so much, folks and here are my reasons why:

  1. Heroes don't betray the trust of others. Edward swore an oath and then threw it away. He's basically someone who thinks he's always right and because of that, will do what he thinks is best, regardless if it hurts others.
  2. Heroes don't put their friends in danger or in jeopardy. Now all of his friends will be watched and possibly called into question. With them caught in the middle of this mess unaware, they have no way to defend themselves.
  3. Heroes don't leave their lovers out. His girlfriend has no idea what's going on, or why he did what he did. Now, like his friends, she's in it.
  4. Heroes think about the overall effect. He didn't it, he just thought about the here and now.
  5. Heroes don't run and hide. Edward vanished, where is he?
  6. Heroes stand up for what they believe in and face the fire, not run away from the heat.
  7. Heroes are not self-indulgent or selfish. Snowden... Well, it's now all about him.
  8. Heroes don't act alone, they believe in teamwork. Again, Snowden went out on his own.
To me, Snowden is a guy who wanted a moment in history. He saw his chance and took it, but at the same time, he fu*ked things up. He left his loved ones in mess, a country in a state of disarray, and top secret info out there for anyone to use and abuse.

Does that sounds like a hero to you?
