Dylann Roof Guilty of Charleston Church Massacre

Self-declared white supremacist Dylann Roof was found guilty Thursday of killing nine black worshipers in a South Carolina church.

Now the 12-person jury will decide whether Roof spends the rest of his life in prison — or dies for last year's massacre at the historic Emanuel AME Church in Charleston.

The jury will break for Christmas and return after the holidays on Jan. 3 to begin debating the 22-year-old convicted mass killer's fate.

Twenty-four of the 33 charges against Roof fall under federal hate crimes statutes. And 18 of those carry the death penalty.

The jury rendered its verdict after prosecutors and the defense made their final arguments.

Dylann Roof Will Face the Death Penalty for Church Killings

Well, the Justice Department is seeking the death penalty for Dylann Roof.

Dylann committed a racially charged massacre of nine people in a church in Charleston last year. He will face two death penalty trials.

Attorney General Loretta E. Lynch said in a statement:

“Following the department’s rigorous review process to thoroughly consider all relevant factual and legal issues, I have determined that the Justice Department will seek the death penalty.The nature of the alleged crime and the resulting harm compelled this decision.”

So, Dylann Roof, you know the guy who killed nine people at the Emanuel AME Church shooting, had the nerve to plead 'not guilty' to federal hate crime charge.

Really? I thought he was doing this for the White race. I thought he would plead guilty with pride... I guess he ain't about that life after all.

Then, Ray Tensing, the guy who shot and killed Sam DuBose also plead 'not guilty'. His body cam proved otherwise, but I guess he's feeling lucky. His bond was set at 1 million dollars, but somehow/someway the 10% was paid. His father posted the $100,085 to get his son out of jail. Rumors speculate that money was raised to post bail.

Ray is using the Cop Excuse: I feared for my life meme, which is ridic and tired. However, his defense will probably wear that line out in court. I just hope it fails.

Terrorist caught and arrested in the Murders of 9 people in Charleston, South Carolina

In Charleston, South Carolina, 9 people were shot and killed in the historic Emanuel AME Church. The act of terrorism happened last night around 9pm. The killer is Dylann Roof, a 21-year-old While male. He was arrested in Shelby, N.C., after someone saw Dylann's car.

At this time, we do not have a reason for the killings or a motive. We do know that there are over 15 hate groups in the state and the Justice Dept. will conduct a hate crime investigation.
