His character is the new owner of Queen Consolidated - with big plans for the Applied Sciences Division. I'm glad to see him back in the comic/TV/Film Universe

First Look: Grant Gustin as Barry Allen (FLASH) on ARROW

He appears on Arrow episode 8

Here's the premise:
A seemingly impossible robbery at Queen Consolidated’s Applied Sciences Division brings Central City police scientist Barry Allen (guest star Grant Gustin) to town. Citing a similar case back home, Barry offers to help Oliver (Stephen Amell) and team with the investigation. Oliver senses there is more to Barry than meets the eye, but he’s distracted by the similarities between this current case and something that happened on the island.

Hot Rumor: Steven McQueen as Nightwing?

Some interesting tweets came from Vampire Diaries' Steven McQueen.

Check them out

And

These tweets could something or not, but when I look at Steven, I can see Nightwing. He has the look and the bod (Yes Ma'am). If this is true, I support it.

Um, Why is CW Whitewashing Sin Lance in ARROW?

So I just realized that the casting of Sin Lance in the second season of Arrow is not right. If you read Green Arrow or Birds of Prey, you will notice that Sin Lance is Asian.

See here, Sin is the young girl

And this is the actress who is playing her
Bex Taylor-Klaus
Now I don't mean no harm, but she doesn't have a lick of Asian in her.

In this day and age, CW should have known better. Why not keep Sin the way she was meant to be? And would they not think fans wouldn't say anything about this?

This is not a good look, CW. Please be aware of your actions with this casting.

Interesting Quote: John Barrowman

'He’s totally shirtless. I do this whole thing where I stalk him around him. It’s beautifully filmed. There’s a whole rotation with the cameras and then the other camera’s going in and out from both sides and then we have a crane that comes down and swoops up. It’s shot like a movie but I was talking to him the whole time. At one point, I get up to him, and I say some dialogue to him and he’s looking at me, and there’s this intense look and then I tweaked his nipple. I said, ‘You can’t do anything, can you?’ Then I went…[cups his hands as one would cup a crotch] and he went ‘No!!’ [laughs] Yeah, we had a good time.'

John Barrowman wants to Make Out with the lead in 'Arrow'

In the CW series, 'Arrow', John plays Malcolm Merlyn. So we will see him as a villain in the series (could be fun).

Recently, John sat down with TV Guide and shared some bits about his role and fantasies:
Barrowman plays Malcom who he describes as a ‘troubled hero’ whose methods in attempting to clean up the city clash with those of the show’s hero.
‘I don’t think we ever will!’ he says of a same-sex love scene. ‘Although I would love to make out with Stephen Amell, I don’t think these two are gonna bed down. I always ask him if I can play some xylophone on his abs (Laughs).’
When the interviewer remarks that Barrowman ‘doesn’t hold back,’ the actor says: ‘I am what I am, and I don’t hide it. If anybody asked me to change, I would tell them to f— off.’
Such a flirt, isn't he?

Will a CW Wonder Woman/Arrow crossover be a Good Thing?

Yesterday, I read this piece about a possible Wonder Woman/Arrow crossover at CW.
Arrow executive producer Greg Berlanti kicked it off by saying both shows could definitely co-exist.

He said:
"Absolutely! If there's room for a thousand reality shows, hopefully there's room for a thousand shows like this. My hope is we're successful enough that we're all on the air together; that'd be great."
Okay... But, my hairs stood up when I saw this part from executive producer Andrew Kreisberg:
"With Wonder Woman, Diana of Themyscira, there are superpowers. I don't foresee crossovers, but one of the great things about superheroes is that they're constantly being reimagined. There's the Adam West and Christopher Nolan versions of Batman, and one doesn't obviate the other. The Lynda Carter version was great, and now the CW is hopefully developing another wonderful version that will be a nice complement to Arrow."
Another wonderful version... I cringed because earlier, they didn't want anyone with superpowers to be in the series.

Will Diana be powerless? And if so, why? She is a mythical being, blessed by the Gods. Should she be powerless to fit the show? I hope not. Diana could make an appearance in the series, but she has to have her powers.

Now, they could go the Cathy Lee Crosby route, but I hope they give some 'Wonder' to Diana.

My (Vague) Review: Arrow

During Comic-Con, I got to see the pilot for Arrow, CW's latest DC Comics series. It's based from Green Arrow and according to the series, the story comes from Green Arrow: Year One.

From what I saw... it was cute, it has CW written all over it, but it's cute. Here's my bullet-point review.
  • In the first 10 minutes, we see how hot Arrow is
  • The theme of the show is very Gotham-ish, basically Batman Begins with Green Arrow
  • Arrow or Ollie was a rich boy boy before his transformation
  • The action scenes were very good, Ollie proves to be a force to be reckoned with
  • His sister is called Speedy, I wonder if this something to come
  • Ollie is avenging his father, he knew something big was coming
  • Stephen does a great job playing Arrow/Ollie, I hope he can carry the series
  • I don't like how they set this up to be look like a younger version of Batman
  • The horrid song, Levels found its way in a scene
  • Not really feeling Dinah Lance
  • The mother knows more than she says she does
  • Over all the pilot was cute, on the fence if I will be a watcher, but it was solid
  • China White will be in these season

New Trailer: Arrow

 The synopsis
After a violent shipwreck, billionaire playboy Oliver Queen was missing and presumed dead for five years before being discovered alive on a remote island in the Pacific. When he returns home to Starling City, his devoted mother Moira, much-beloved sister Thea, and best friend Tommy welcome him home, but they sense Oliver has been changed by his ordeal on the island. While Oliver hides the truth about the man he’s become, he desperately wants to make amends for the actions he took as the boy he was. Most particularly, he seeks reconciliation with his former girlfriend, Laurel Lance. As Oliver reconnects with those closest to him, he secretly creates the persona of Arrow – a vigilante – to right the wrongs of his family, fight the ills of society, and restore Starling City to its former glory. By day, Oliver plays the role of a wealthy, carefree and careless philanderer he used to be – flanked by his devoted chauffeur/bodyguard, John Diggle – while carefully concealing the secret identity he turns to under cover of darkness. However, Laurel’s father, Detective Quentin Lance, is determined to arrest the vigilante operating in his city. Meanwhile, Oliver’s own mother, Moira, knows much more about the deadly shipwreck than she has let on – and is more ruthless than he could ever imagine.
