Doctor Who’s Companion is now Carrie Bradshaw's Inspiration
In the Sex and the City prequel, The Carrie Diaries, Freema Agyeman has been cast in big role. She will be Larissa, Carrie’s mentor and Party girl inspiration.
I wonder if Freema will be British in this series.

Meet the new Carrie Bradshaw
The prequel series to "Sex and The City" is happening (whether we like it or not). "The Carrie Diaries" set to premier on the CW next fall and they got their Carrie.
Her name is AnnaSophia Robb, the teenage Carrie Bradshaw.
This series will explore Carrie's life before the madness and fashion of NYC. Oh, and she has a sister, I didn't know Carrie had a sister.
I wonder if they treat it like Buffy's sister Dawn? I guess we'll see.

Interesting Quote: Sarah Jessica Parker
“There is. I know what the story is. It’s a small story, but I think it should be told. The question is, what’s the right time to tell it?”Sarah confirms there's 'possibly' a 3rd "Sex and The City" movie

Interesting Quote: Sarah Jessica Parker
"I think there's one more story to tell. I know there is. I'd definitely tell that [third] story, and I know Michael would do it right. But maybe not now. Maybe in five years, you know?"Sarah saying she would love to see a third 'Sex and the City' movie

More Sex? SATC 3?

This may not be true but...
With Sex and The City 2 premiering at the end of May, The Sun reports movie bosses have decided to shoot the two movies back to back.So I guess there's a third movie coming? Alright.
"Sex And The City is as much about fashion and how Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte look as it is about the plot," the anonymous source told the paper. "They're keen to look as young as possible because that movie will be their last. They want to go out on a high."
"The characters will look a lot younger on screen when the third movie is out in a couple of years," the source added. "The third film will be their last and the cast want to look their best."
"I've told my agent I'm just too old to play the part again," Sarah Jessica Parker said in 2006.

More Sex

Great News for SATC fans
New Line Cinema spokeswoman Candice McDonough confirms that "Sex and the City" starring Sarah Jessica Parker, her three co-stars and writer-director Michael Patrick King are signed for a sequel to last year's hit movie.
The film will reunite Parker and gal pals Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon.
In a statement, King says: "I'm very excited to work with these amazing actresses again and would love to give everyone more information about the sequel ... but I'm busy with my `Sex' life."
New Line parent Warner Bros. plans to have the sequel out in summer 2010.
Maybe Skipper will make an appearance.

From Sex to Slayers
The Sex and the City movie made 55 million this weekend, proving the fan favorite still has its spunk. So I can't help to wonder, could there be another Buffy the Vampire Slayer flick?
I say, yes! And I say that because there are fans that would enjoy it...in fact, they would love it. The story has always been a good one: super powered women, geeky peeps, demons, and great dialogue. With remakes and loveless romance movies flooding theaters, why not continue telling a great story.
Right now, the story continues in comic book form. Joss said he would do it if the feeling's right. I believe this is it. Joss is a great writer and it would be great event if it happens. I hope the cast saw this weekend's success with SATC. Maybe they can get together at least one more time to make history.

Sex is Fun, Classic, and Big

Sex and the City was a very good movie. It was like watching the show again, only that it was 2 hours instead of 30 minutes. The girls looked great and the story was fun, sad, and classic SATC. The clothes were cute, but it was good to see the story to be as strong as the fashion.
I feared that it would be all fashion and no substance, but I was wrong. I felt the story and I felt the girls' emotions. These are fine actresses. The reason why this show was a powerhouse is because of their work. It was never about how hot they are or the sexy men, well not completely. Their work built that loyalty and fan fair. All of these fake NYC, 3 to 4 women, rich teens shows don't get it and never will. Until they know how to act, the shows will not reach SATC status. So writers take a lesson from them: great story, great acting, less hype.
So I say, see this movie. It's fun and a great love letter to the fans. I will probably see this movie again.

The girls are back in town...or on the big screen

I am looking forward to the Sex and the City this weekend. My friend from Tempe is coming here to celebrate the Hollywood premier, or the Arclight showing. There's something about his show that's really special. I don't know if it's the cast or NYC, however it's a one of a kind series.
So I can't wait to see what my girls have been up to for the past 5 years. Now only if Buffy could come back on the big screen.
