Gay Hotelier Ian Reisner actually donated to Ted Cruz's Campaign

The gay hoteliers Ian Reisner and Mati Weiderpass are still causing drama. I thought this mess was over, turns out, it isn't. Ian Reisner wrote a check to ted Cruz's presidential campaign! This piece of souse meat made a $2,700 donation to the anti-gay crackhead.

The New York Times reports that Ian gave this donation after he said he didn't. Then, he called the campaign and asked for his check to be refunded.

Here's more
“In the interest of transparency, I gave Senator Cruz a $2,700 check to show my support for his work on behalf of Israel,” Mr. Reisner said in a statement he provided after The Times learned of the donation from two people with direct knowledge of it. “When I realized his donation could be misconstrued as supporting his anti-gay marriage agenda, I asked for the money back. Senator Cruz’s office gave the money back, and I have no intention of giving any money to any politicians who aren’t in support of L.G.B.T. issues.”
I can't with this Ian. I mean, how daft is this guy? Seriously, you gave money to someone you knew nothing about? If that's the case, you can hand me a donation since you know nothing about me.

Nothing wrong with that at all.In fact, it is commendable. Unless of course your one of those anti-Israel Islamo/nazi jew haters.

Reisner, is after all, a Republican himself. Just because we may disagree with someone on some issues, doesn't mean we can't work with them or support them on other issues of importance we do agree on.

This whole business of attacking Ian Reisner and Weiderpass because they had a dinner with Cruz for a discussion on non-LGBT matters is pure rubbish.

They hosted a Republican to dinner for a discussion of non-LGBT matters. Foreign policy and national security. And for that the loud cry-babys want to boycott their business for simply having a dinner and conversation with someone? Sick!! This has nothing to do with LGBT matters. It is well known that Reisner and Weiderpass are both Republican [log cabin]. Folks in both partys [Dem, Rep.] do not always agree with each other on every issue. And sometimes intensely disagree with one another. That doesn't mean you can't sit down and have a conversation on other matters. Or find agreement on other important issues. Like the need to support our ally Israel, an alternative to the Federal income tax, such as the "Fair Tax". And there are a host of other non-LGBT important matters that we can try to work together on. I think whats really going on here is a bunch of loud cry-baby Democrats, who just happen to be gay, are trying to use legitimate LGBT matters as a smokescreen for what their real beef with Ian Reisner is: He's a Republican. And these cry baby Dems are so extremely liberal and "intolerant", they can't abide anybody being anything other than Democrat.
