How did the uber-fried Queenfest, Mamma Mia, beat out Sex and the City for Best Movie comedy or musical in the Golden Globes?
Were we so caught up in the Presidential election, that we let this foolishness happen?

I saw Mamma Mia on a plane and saw SATC in NYC the weekend it opened.
SATC was infinitely better. Mamma Mia is perfect for a plane trip, but still kind of cringe-worthy the way the worked each song into the "plot". Granted, SATC isn't exactly Proust, but as an extension of/conclusion to the TV series (and a cultural phenomenon) I thought it was much better.
