5 Actors who could replace Hugh Jackman as Wolverine

Hugh Jackman said that his days as Wolverine are numbered. So in the near future, we will have a new Wolverine. But the real question is... Who can play him? I have some suggestions on who can wear the claws and the tight jeans.

Check them out after the jump

Another Wolverine Movie is in Negotiations with Hugh Jackman and James Mangold

I don't know about this.

Deadline reported that Twentieth Century Fox has started conversations and negotiations with James Mangold and Hugh Jackman for another Wolverine film.

I wasn't giddy about The Wolverine movie and personally, I'm Wolvie out. But because of the goddamned international box office, they may keep going and going and going.

If they think they can tell another story, then I guess it's cool. But the real question is, 'What is a GOOD Wolverine story to tell?"

Is the X-Treme X-Men's Wolverine Gay?

In the new version of X-Treme X-Men, it appears that this parallel world version of Wolverine could be gay?

Check out this panel

Hercules is known to be bi in the 'real' Marvel Universe. Will this story actually play out?

Glenn Danzig could have been Wolverine, said he would've been less Gay

Rock legend Glenn Danzig revealed some interesting info to LA Weekly recently. apparently, he was actually considered to play Wolverine in the first X-Men movie.
Early in the film's pre-production, you were in talks to play Wolverine in X-Men. How would you have played Logan/Wolverine differently than Hugh Jackman?
It wouldn't have been as gay. Actually, he wasn't the first choice. They hired Dougray Scott. He had a falling out with the director, and then they hired Hugh Jackman. I'm glad I didn't do it. It was terrible.
Ooookay Glenn, I guess your tight leather pants and eye make-up made you look so butch. And to think I had a crush on him in high school.

Is This a Wolverine Teaser Poster

This "movie poster" appeared out of nowhere recently. Different sites have contacted 20th Century Fox, but they haven't confirmed nor denied this poster.

So, if this is a teaser poster, it's cute.

Marvel Cancels their ONLY LGBT Solo Lead Comic Book

Wolverine has a bisexual son named Daken, and he has a comic... Wait! He HAD a comic. Marvel just cancelled it. Here's Marvel's EIC Axel Alonso to get us the scoop:

It's always disappointing when a title comes to an end. I'll bet everyone reading this column still mourns the death of a title or two they loved -- and wonder why the book didn't stick. And I guarantee you that as frustrated as a fan might be, there's a writer, artist and an editor who are even more disappointed. That's just the way things go sometimes. The market won't support it.

That said, I'm proud of X-23's run. Two successful limited series and an ongoing series ain't bad. Ditto for Daken [who is also ending his series.] From a supporting role in "Wolverine: Origins” to the lead of ongoing series that included him slicing Frank Castle to bits -- enter Franken-Castle. Both were characters that gained traction in a market that, well, doesn't really have a great track record of supporting new stuff. And both characters anchored legitimate monthly titles. We don't do R&D at Marvel. We'll stick by a title for a while -- like we did with "Spider-Girl" -- but there comes a point where that title has to earn, usually sooner than later.

I hope Daken will continue to be active in the Marvel universe.

Hugh Jackman talks about 'The Wolverine' Script

With Darren Aronofsky no longer on the Wolverine flick, many of us were scared that we would get another sad X-Men movie. But, Hugh Jackman believes we will get a great film:

“We had a script that was under Darren Aronofsky’s directorial—it’s 85 percent the same.  Darren took it in a Darren Aronofsky way and it’s a version I know fans would have liked to have seen – I would have loved to have seen it.  James Mangold’s version of the script brought Mark Bomback on. We always had a strong base there.  This is the best script we have had, which is precisely why Darren signed on.

I tried to get Darren to do X3 and Wolverine and he was always like, ‘It’s not really for me.’ I knew he was looking for a comic book movie and he read this one and he goes, ‘Hey, this is the best one I’ve ever read.’  So there is a lot of meat on the bone there.  Now, Mark and Jim have taken it and I think that it as strong, if not stronger, than what we would have had with Darren.”
Good, keep as much 'Darren' on this movie as possible. We need a good mutant flick.
