This is sad to hear.
The co-founder of Earth, Wind and Fire Maurice White died in his sleep this morning. Maurice lost his long battle with Parkinson’s disease. He left the band years ago, but was very involved in the decision-making.
The knowledge and wisdom he brought to the group was legendary. With Maurice, EWF reached a level that many groups can't even touch today.
Maurice was 74.
