Folks, Stop trying to make Porsha Williams an Anti-Gay Bigot

A video popped up, showing The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porsha Williams giving a sermon. What makes it a story is the part about saving Gays and Lesbians, along with drug addicts and other troubled folks.

That video was made three years ago.

However, the video hit the blogs and poof, she was a bigot anti-gay harlot! Mind you, that it was three years ago and Porsha has changed her tune. She is supportive of the LGBT community. She know her fans are mostly gay and she now performs in gay clubs. Porsha also issued an apology for her actions.

She said in People Magazine:
"My heart was heavy and it's imperative for me to address the issue. God loves all of his children. The sermon was shown not in its entirety, therefore the message was omitted. I apologize that those words hurt the LGBT community, my fans and my supporters. Life is a journey and I'm growing every day."
What I find funny is the criticisms from the gay community. Saying Porsha's lying and she's just trying to keep her fans from leaving her. Then come to find out that these same folks never watched the show or know anything about her. They just know what they read on a gay blog, Facebook or Twitter.

So, I guess folks can't change or move forward? She admitted she was wrong and apologized. Why are some folks still trying to hate on her. And since when did we become so hellbent against folks learning from their hate or ignorance and growing the f**k up?

Fam, if we can't accept people's apologies and growth, then how can we demand folks to understand our issues and rights? I forgive Porsha Williams and I'm moving on.

You should do the same.

Even idiots like Porsha, and let's be clear, even today she's not so smart, can "evolve"; after all, Obama did it.
