NAACP Leader Ben Jealous will resign in December


Noooo!

Ben Jealous, my ideal man, the NAACP president will be stepping down this December. He said he needed to spend more time with his family.

Ben has been an excellent leader and visionary for the NAACP. He has helped the group move forward on many issues, especially on gay rights.

He said:
"Leadership knows when to step up and when to step down. This day I can say with pride that I'm prepared to step down and make room for the next person who will lead this organization to its next chapter."
We will miss him.

The current NAACP position on gay rights/marriage equality has more to do with Julian Bond than it does with Ben Jealous.
