Several years ago, Veronica Mars was on TV. The smart and interesting show won fans over quickly, but in a NYC minute, it was cancelled.
But the creator, Rob Thomas, brought it back through Kickstarter. Within 10 hours, Rob raised over 2 million dollars for a VM movie.
2 MILLION!
