The Tale of 2 Maps

This is interesting and weird. New York Times has a map of states where gays can get married and states where you can marry your first cousin.

Sad, yes

Very telling, yes, especially in The South

Yup, we're gall derned proud of bein' able to marry our cousins while keepin' the homos down!

When will the South rise again and become an educated openminded part of this country?

It is absolutely amazing. Why aren't all those Christian Right Wingnuts pissed off about the first cousin thing? I guess if you don't believe in evolution, and your first cousin is of the opposite sex, and you can procreate, it's considered acceptable. We are in such sad shape! Very sad, indeed.
