Because no one Cares... 20th Century Fox wants to relaunch Fantastic Four

Why? Why? Who asked for this?
While Disney lays down a $4 billion bet on the future of Marvel's superheroes, 20th Century Fox has already begun overhauling one of its big Marvel franchises, "Fantastic Four," to take the property beyond the two films already made.

Akiva Goldsman has been hired to oversee the reboot as producer. Michael Green, the co-exec producer of TV's "Heroes" who co-wrote "Green Lantern," will write the script for the new "Fantastic Four."

Fox wouldn't comment on its plans, but the moves are evidence that Marvel franchises do have enduring lifespans.

We seen this mess before, why are they doing this again?

Were fans screaming about this? No!

So why? Whyyyy?

Maybe Maleficent can put a spell on 20th Century Fox to stop this mess!

I want Marvel Studios to make it. Properly. But I think it needs a good ten years.

The first time they tried to make an FF4 movie was back in the early 90's. They said the finished product was so bad that it got shelved, permanently (it literally never saw the light of day).
Then they made those two BOMBS in the early 2000's (Jessica Alba as Sue Storm? Why didn't they just cast Beyonce?)...
This franchise needs a reboot...a REALLY good one.
But there should be a lag time. Give us sometime to get over those two shitty movies.
