A PROCLAMATION

From generation to generation, ordinary Americans have led a proud and inexorable march toward freedom, fairness, and full equality under the law -- not just for some, but for all. Ours is a heritage forged by those who organized, agitated, and advocated for change; who wielded love stronger than hate and hope more powerful than insult or injury; who fought to build for themselves and their families a Nation where no one is a second-class citizen, no one is denied basic rights, and all of us are free to live and love as we see fit.

The lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT)community has written a proud chapter in this fundamentally American story. From brave men and women who came out and spokeout, to union and faith leaders who rallied for equality, toactivists and advocates who challenged unjust laws and marched on Washington, LGBT Americans and allies have achieved what once seemed inconceivable. This month, we reflect on their enduring legacy, celebrate the movement that has made progress possible, and recommit to securing the fullest blessings of freedom for all Americans.

Since I took office, my Administration has worked to broaden opportunity, advance equality, and level the playing field for LGBT people and communities. We have fought to secure justice for all under the Matthew Shepard and James Byrd, Jr.,Hate Crimes Prevention Act, and we have taken action to end housing discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity. We expanded hospital visitation rights for LGBT patients and their loved ones, and under the Affordable Care Act, we ensured that insurance companies will no longer be able to deny coverage to someone just because they are lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender. Because we understand that LGBT rights are human rights, we continue to engage with the international community in promoting and protecting the rights of LGBT persons around the world. Because we repealed "Don't Ask, Don't Tell," gay, lesbian, and bisexual Americans can serve their country openly, honestly, and without fear of losing their jobs because of whom they love. And because we must treat others the way we want to be treated, I personally believe in marriage equality for same-sex couples.

More remains to be done to ensure every single American is treated equally, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity. Moving forward, my Administration will continue its work to advance the rights of LGBT Americans. This month, as we reflect on how far we have come and how far we have yet to go, let us recall that the progress we have made is built on the words and deeds of ordinary Americans. Let us pay tribute to those who came before us, and those who continue their work today; and let us rededicate ourselves to a task that is unending -- the pursuit of a Nation where all are equal, and all have the full and unfettered opportunity to pursue happiness and live openly and freely.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, BARACK OBAMA, President of the United States of America, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the laws of the United States, do hereby proclaim June 2012 as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Pride Month.

I call upon the people of the United States to eliminate prejudice everywhere it exists, and to celebrate the great diversity of the American people.

One Million Lonely Wives get swamped by Gay Comic Fans

The Hateful Heifers continue their losing streak. They tried to go after DC Comics for Green Lantern, but it backfired big time. They linked the article on their FB page, but the comments were overwhelmingly positive. So, they got rid of the post.


The New Civil Rights Movement caught it all:

When I happened upon the posting, it seemed that there were more than 100 comments, but when I tried to access the post on it’s individual page, it came up with an error message: “The page you requested was not found.” (Original link here.)

I went back to the main One Million Moms Facebook page, noticed there were now only 83 comments, clicked to access the post’s individual page again, took a screen shot, but noticed there were only a few dozen comments.

I went back to the main One Million Moms Facebook page again, and noticed the post was gone. It appears that the administrator of the One Million Moms Facebook page attempted to delete the positive comments, then simply deleted the entire post.

What you see above is the screenshot I took, showing almost all comments but a few were positive. Amusingly, they also deleted a post at read that their “fans might need a time out,” or something similar.

It’s great to know that One Million Moms is aware they are not popular and their views are not shared by the vast majority of people around the world.

Judge has revoked George Zimmerman's bond, Has 48 hours to turn himself in

Well, that sweet freedom was quick. George has screwed up and now he's wanted back in court.

MSNBC lays it out

Prosecutors alleged that Zimmerman, 28, misled the court regarding his finances when $150,000 bail was granted April 20 and accused him of holding a second U.S. passport that he did not surrender to the court. Zimmerman is facing second-degree murder charges in the shooting death of Martin, 17, in February.

In a hearing in Sanford, Fla., Judge Kenneth Lester said Zimmerman engaged in a "material falsehood" about his finances.

The state attached a copy of the application for that passport to its motion. The state claims in its motion that Zimmerman obtained the second passport after filing a claim that his original passport had been lost or stolen. 

Zimmerman's attorney, Mark O'Mara, conceded there was a second passport, saying, "It's not devious or inappropriate" to have a second passport if first one is lost or stolen. He said the second passport has never been stamped. He said Zimmerman filed for a second passport after thinking he had lost his first one; Zimmerman later discovered he had not lost the first one.

Lies! If he's lying about that, you know he's lying about Trayvon!

Family Research Council calls on their Prayer Team to Fight the Gays

The FRC are in fear of the Gayness in the air. So, they are going to their prayer team to draft up an attack against us.

Our courts went from prohibiting prayer for children to aborting children, to giving special benefits now to same-sex partners, and the military now admits openly practicing homosexuals. Several states have legalized same-sex marriage, and instead of prayer, public school children are given explicit instructions on how to have "safe" homosexual and heterosexual sex. President Obama has placed homosexual activists in leading roles throughout his administration. Our President now endorses same-sex marriage, and has ordered colleges, including religious schools, to offer students insurance covering "free" contraceptives, abortifacient drugs and sterilization.

"Proclaim Liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof" (Lev 25:10), is inscribed upon the Liberty Bell in Philadelphia. It refers to the Jubilee God ordered to be proclaimed every 50 years in ancient Israel. 2012 marks 50 years since the freedom to pray was taken from America's school children. Americans now find themselves subject to spiritual, economic, political and religious oppression beyond anything the founders faced. Will you pray with me that 2012 will be a year of Jubilee in our own nation and that we will see the tide turn from oppression to real liberty?

My Rant: Christianity is the new Crazy

I don't understand how or why, anyone could sit in a church and let a pastor say things like, "kill gays" or allow a child to sing such hateful songs in the name of the Lord.

Are Christians that cocky? Do they think God approve of this violent and horrid behavior? Within a month, we have heard and seen such crazy ass talk from church leaders and their flock. They are warped in thinking they are speaking God's word by basically telling us to die and rot in Hell.

Well, I got news for them, that's hate. When you are being divisive, that's hate. When you threaten someone's life because of their sexuality, that's hate, When you rather see them dead than by your side? That's hate. That's not of God or anything God stands for.

When did Jesus start praying for the death of gays? Never! So why are they pushing such hate-fulled mess? I also find it funny how they claim that gay marriage will destroy their faith. I guess their faith is so weak, a same sex couple can ruin their relationship with God. Or if you called them out on their bigotry, they scream "You're trying to take my religious freedoms away!"

If that's the kind of mess you're spiting out, then yes I want to take that away. How is holding you accountable threatening your religious rights? And do you want to protect foolishness like that?

I can go on and on, but it is clear... Christianity is now the new Crazy. It's no longer just, fair or moral. It's divisive, riddled in bigotry and extreme.

Horror in Real Life: Roommate eats Roommate

This is scary ass mess right here. In Batimore, a man murdered his roommate and ate parts of him.

Alexander Kinyua, a 21-year-old Morgan State University student, admitted to murdering his roommate Kujoe Bonsafo Agyei-Kodie, who was reported missing last Friday, cops told the Baltimore Sun.

Kinyua's father called police late Tuesday night when Kinyua's brother reportedly found human remains -- a head and two hands -- in a metal tin in the basement. The brother and father left the room for a short time, but when they came back, the body parts had been moved and Kinyua was washing out the tin, the paper reported.

Officers searched the house and arrested Kinyua. The man allegedly confessed a shocking revelation: not only had he killed Agyei-Kodie by cutting him up with a knife and then dismembered him, he ingested parts of the victim's brain and all of his heart. He then allegedly dropped most of the remains in a Dumpster behind a church in Joppatowne.

It's yet unclear what Kinyua's motive may have been, but he was charged with first-degree murder on Wednesday. In another incident on May 20, he was charged with first-degree assault when he allegedly beat a fellow student randomly with a baseball bat and then fled into the woods.

Lord, it's a whacked out world out there.

John Edwards' case ends in Mistrial

John Edwards was lucky yesterday. His campaign finance case ended in a mistrial because the jurors couldn't make a solid decision if he misused campaign funds to deal with his mistress. The trial got all up in his business, but at the end of the day John got off. Here's a video of his 'victory' speech
