Chord Overstreet won't be a Series Regular on 'Glee'

If you are a Trout Mouth fan, sorry to tell you that he's kinda out of 'Glee'.

Chord Overstreet‘s series regular option has not been picked up. However, a source close to the show says the actor — who joined the Fox hit last fall in the recurring role of McKinley transfer student Sam Evans — could return as an occasional guest star.


Late Friday, Overstreet issued a cryptic tweet saying, “It’s been a good year. Too bad it’s over. Time for summer and starting fresh.”

Maybe he will land a role on True Blood.

Adrianne is back on acting horse. The former Wonder Woman star will be one of my favorite Joes, Lady Jaye.

Deadline reports:

Friday Nights Lights series star Adrianne Palicki will play the female lead in the Paramount sequel to G.I. Joe: Cobra Strikes. She'll play Lady Jaye and joins a cast that includes Channing Tatum, as well as Dwayne Johnson, who signed on to play the role of Roadblock in the Jon M. Chu-directed film.

Would California Voters Overturn Prop 8 in 2012? Nate Silver says 'Yes'

Whiz Kid Nate Silver presented his mega-chart of the Gay Marriage measure in the country. In his analysis, Nate believes if the Gay Marriage Ban was put back on the ballot, Cali's peeps would overturn it.

Nevertheless, even the relatively cautious Linear Model predicts that 54 percent of Californians would vote against a measure like Proposition 8 if one were on the ballot next year, while 55 percent of Oregonians would vote against a ban on same-sex marriage like the one the state’s voters approved in 2004. Neither prediction seems too far out of line: Oregon’s marriage ban was rejected by 43 percent of voters seven years ago, and California’s by 48 percent two years ago, and public opinion has shifted meaningfully in favor of same-sex marriage since then.

Interesting, there has been a lot talk about this. I wonder if this will steer the LGBT community back to the ballot in 2012. I'm so not sure, but this will make great conversation here in Cali-Cal.

Maine wants Their Gay Marriage Back!

The gays in Maine want to get marriage back! They are going for another referendum on marriage equality.

Gay marriage supporters say many have changed their minds since state voters overturned a same-sex marriage law in 2009. They said Thursday they're filing paperwork with election officials to start the process of gathering 57,000 signatures to put the matter on the November 2012 ballot.

Matt McTighe from Gay & Lesbian Advocates & Defenders says polls show 53 percent of Mainers now support gay marriage. In 2009, gay marriage was rejected by the same margin.

"We believe there's strong support for marriage in Maine. We believe that all families deserve the right to marry. The longer we wait, the longer we delay this right of loving and committed couples to marry," McTighe said Thursday.

Well, good luck Maine. We will be watching.
