Jerry Brown Will Run for Governor of California!

LA Times confirms that Jerry Brown will run for Governor of Cali-Cal.

Atty. Gen. Jerry Brown will formally announce Tuesday that he is running for governor, a job he last held nearly three decades ago, according to a source close to his campaign.

Though he had been plotting this run for two years, Brown had resisted making it official while two would-be Republican contenders have openly battled for their party's nod. The winner of that primary contest in June, whether it be former EBay chief Meg Whitman or California Insurance Commissioner Steve Poizner, will have substantial personal wealth with which Brown will have to contend in the general election.

Harold Ford Jr. is Not running for NY Senator

My ex-husband has decided not to run for NY Senator, so Gilly is safe for now (jk).

This is what he had to say:

"I've examined this race in every possible way, and I keep returning to the same fundamental conclusion: If I run, the likely result would be a brutal and highly negative Democratic primary -- a primary where the winner emerges weakened and the Republican strengthened," Ford wrote. He continued: "I refuse to do anything that would help Republicans win a Senate seat in New York, and give the Senate majority to the Republicans."

However, there are rumors that he could go for Governor. But those are huge rumors.

Sen. Jim Bunning is an Asshole

Sen. Jim Bunning is a son of a jackal! He continues to hold up the extending unemployment benefits bill. This bill will extend enhanced unemployment benefits and subsidized health insurance for laid-off workers for 30 days.

He has done this mess before and today, he's just keeping off the table.

What is his reason? Why is he being an ass about this? Well, he doesn't want to increase the deficit.

But there are families who need this money, who really needs help! How can he sit there and justify his reasoning, knowing that people are really suffering. Also this is hitting the farmers in Kentucky hard (He's represents KY).

450,000 signatures to Stop the Anti-Gay Ugandan Bill

Civil rights activists are sending Uganda a message: Don't Pass the Anti-Gay Bill!

The online petition was organised by campaign group Avaaz, which hopes to eventually garner one million signatures.

It was delivered to Uganda’s parliament in Kampala this morning by a delegation led by Anglican priest Canon Gideon Byamugisha.

The petition was accompanied by a letter asking parliament to reject the controversial bill and instead pass legislation to protect gay people.

Over 450, 000 almost half a million signatures were collected in this petition. The organization is called Avaaz, please check out their site

Zolciak, 31, stepped out with her love of three months, DJ Tracy Young, at the Blacks' Annual Gala in Miami Beach on Saturday.

Young, who made a remix of Zolciak's song "Tardy for the Party," was overheard saying, "We're really happy!"

A source tells Us, "Tracy broke up with her longtime girlfriend to be with Kim. Since they've been together, Tracy lost a lot of weight and got really skinny for Kim. They seem to be beyond happy with each other."

Final Briefs for the Prop 8 Case have been turned in.

Olson and Boies submitted their final briefs this weekend to Judge Walker.

Papers filed last night by attorneys Theodore Olson and David Boies detail how the evidence revealed during last month’s three-week federal trial of Proposition 8 overwhelmingly proves that the measure is unconstitutional.

“This 294-page filing is only a summary of the overwhelming evidence against Proposition 8,” said Chad Griffin, Board President of the American Foundation for Equal Rights. “The evidence proves beyond a doubt that Proposition 8, which separates Americans into unequal groups, violates the U.S. Constitution and causes incredible harm to individuals and our nation as a whole.”

Who Asked for This?: Speedy Gonzales the Movie

When I read this, I almost through my MacBook out the window.

Look out, peeps. Speedy Gonzales is coming.

Speedy Gonzales is taking his folk hero status, incredible speed and signature red kerchief to the big screen, courtesy of New Line. "Garfield" scribes Alec Sokolow and Joel Cohen will adapt the classic animated Looney Tunes character into a live-action/CG hybrid feature, with George Lopez attached to voice Speedy.

Lopez, Ann Lopez and Lynnette Ramirez are producing for George Lopez Presents, along with "Ocean's Eleven" producer Jerry Weintraub, Tracy Ryerson and Jill Arthur. New Line execs Michele Weiss and Sam Brown are shepherding for the studio.

But that not it, see this:

the character has often courted criticism that the ethnic characterizations of him and his compatriots (especially lazy cousin Slowpoke Rodriguez) are stereotypically racist and severely outdated.

Aware of this, New Line and the producers plan to update the brand with a modernized sensibility (it takes place in present day) under what Ann Lopez calls George's "Latino seal of approval." (No need to throw fuel on the fire that serves as an immigration debate in this country.)

"We wanted to make sure that it was not the Speedy of the 1950s -- the racist Speedy," Ann Lopez said with a chuckle. "Speedy's going to be a misunderstood boy who comes from a family that works in a very meticulous setting, and he's a little too fast for what they do. He makes a mess of that. So he has to go out in the world to find what he's good at."

"Latino seal of approval", interesting. Well, I curious to see how this movie plans out.

OHIO, not a LGBT friendly place

I didn't know this but apparently, Ohio is not the greatest place to be if you're gay.

According to IN THE LIFE, Ohio are not fans:
