Evening with Patti

Last night I was lucky to see the real deal diva, Patti LaBelle in Hollywood. The event was the 30th anniversaryof the UNCF Evening of Stars. She was being honored for her commitment to UNCF and her music. It was truly amazing!
Jennifer Hudson and Fantasia were there and they killed it! They sung some of Patti's greatest hits and brought something new to her songs. To hear them live was above wonderful. If any of you get a chance to see them live, please do so. And Patti, what can I say, she looked amazing. She wasn't suppose to sing, but she did anyway. She sung, A Change is Going to Come and sung it perfectly.
It was a great night in Hollywood and a great night to spend it with the Queen of Rock & Soul (her new title)
