First Lady Michelle Obama Full Emotional And Motivational Speech at the DNC

Interesting Quote: Nevada Senator Pat Spearman

From DNC Convention
“We have heard Donald Trump say that he would protect the LGBTQ community. But he is against marriage equality and has said he is all for overturning it. Donald Trump says that anyone can use any bathroom in Trump Tower but he still supports heinous bathroom bills and he would strip away the rights of transgender Americans. But his worst attack on us was his vice presidential pick, Indiana Governor Mike Pence. Governor Pence signed a law that allows individuals and businesses to deny services to LGBTQ Americans, and he used religion as a weapon to discriminate. As a lesbian, that hurts me. As a person of faith, that offends me. And as a legislator working hard to create jobs, that baffles me.

Wikileaks is Weak

Wikileaks are sad and foolish.

As many of you know Wikileaks released info about a staffer's plans to attack Bernie Sanders based of his religious beliefs. It was petty, but it's nothing new, it's politics. Anyway, journalists start digging and see an interesting link to Russia.

Now, if you've been watching, Trump has been kissing up to Russia and Putin. They have made it no secret that they love Trump and will do dirty deeds to help him.

MSNBC's Joy Reid tweeted about this and Wikileaks responded

Really Wikileaks?

Texts from Hillary

Interesting Quote: Rep. Emanuel Cleaver

"Look, if being liberal and progressive means that I care for children and whether they go hungry, color me! Color me a Democrat! If being a Democrat means I'm concerned about our seniors in the sunset of their life, color me Democrat! Color me liberal! After all, we are the ones who protected Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid, who fought for fair wages and who ended 'Don't Ask, Don't Tell.' We are Democrats! And don't you ever forget it!"
He spoke at the DNC Convention yesterday, very powerful.

The DNC put God back in the Mix

The Dems felt pressure to put 'God' and 'Jerusalem' back in the party's platform. This is how it went down.

Pat Robertson: Democrats the ‘party of gays, godlessness and whatever else’

Alveda King adds her Useless Two Cents about Michelle Obama's Speech

This heifer right here had to add her stankin' two cents about the First Lady's speech.

Here a piece of it:
What the First Lady didn't mention is the high number of jobless families, and the astronomical debt her husband has run up in the name of entitlement during his tenure. This debt will fall on the backs of our children, at least those who don't end up contracepted or aborted or not conceived in the first place.
However, after saying all of this, we can admit that both Mrs. Romney and Mrs. Obama have delivered stunning and memorable speeches in support and defense of their husbands. Women can be proud that two intelligent women are at the forefront of this year's elections.
Women should also be very wary of an agenda that is very harmful to the female and family populations of America, which is the agenda that Mrs. Michelle Obama, the First Lady of America is promoting. The current administration supports programs and initiatives such as homosexual marriage and the HHS Mandate which delivers harmful chemical and medical procedures that are linked to strokes, heart attacks, breast cancer and a host of other ills that are harmful to the lives of babies and women.
Child Cheese, Alveda needs to have a seat and stop trying have a spotlight. She ain't doing anyone any favors.

Jared Polis celebrates the President's commitment to Diversity

Jared gave a great speech that noted how President Obama is unifier and hopes for an one America.
His vision for one America, one in which we can overcome our divisions to make our country greater, continues to be an enormous challenge to Washington, D.C., a town with professional pundits and pols, whose entire livelihood is never-ending partisan bickering.

But ladies and gentlemen, now is our chance to tell the dividers no, tell the special interests and cynical Washington insiders no, tell the lobbyists and PACs no, and tell our fellow countrymen and women, gay and straight, Christians, Jews, Mormons, Muslims and nonbelievers, rich and poor, black and white, Latino and Asian, east and west, north and south; it is time to tell them yes, together we are stronger, together we are better, together we are America.
He also spoke of the President's support of immigrants and the LGBT community:
That is why President Obama brought to Washington a vision for one America—an America in which we can overcome divisions of red and blue to make our country greater.

It is why he's fighting to make citizenship a reality for young immigrants who go to college or serve in our military. It is why he repealed "don't ask, don't tell," so that no person is prevented from serving the country they love because of whom they love. And it is why Barack Obama became the first sitting president in American history to show his personal support for same-sex marriage.

Here's the family watching the First Lady

Interesting Quote: Cory Booker

Our platform and our president are not interested in petty political arguments. Instead, this platform of big and practical ideas sets forth an emboldened pathway toward the historic hope which has driven generations of Americans forward—it is our most fundamental national aspiration—that no matter who you are, no matter what your color, creed, how you choose to pray or who you choose to love, that if you are an American—first generation or fifth—one who is willing to work hard, play by the rules and apply your God-given talents—that you should be able to find a job that pays the bills.

READ the Official Democratic National Platform addressing Marriage Equality

From the Democratic Party platform
Freedom to Marry. We support the right of all families to have equal respect, responsibilities, and protections under the law. We support marriage equality and support the movement to secure equal treatment under law for same-sex couples. We also support the freedom of churches and religious entities to decide how to administer marriage as a religious sacrament without government interference.

We oppose discriminatory federal and state constitutional amendments and other attempts to deny equal protection of the laws to committed same-sex couples who seek the same respect and responsibilities as other married couples. We support the full repeal of the so-called Defense of Marriage Act and the passage of the Respect for Marriage Act.
Fascinating!
